If your connection sucks, don't play. You still ruin the game for everyone else on your team. If you think that's fine, then deal with the consequences and Riot will protect the good little players with decent internet. [*] If you play on a toaster and take a while to reconnect - thats a paddlin too. System still flags you afk. [*] Leaving even once in ranked might give you instantly penalties. Edit: Huh, how do I do bullet points in vbb code again?

Negative cycle, no? what lyte is doing is basically forcing people who want to get out to be the guy who plays 4v5 for a few games

They said they were against it for being an asshole because most players don't realize they are being bad and will just think "All these other people in low priority are so much worse than me, I don't deserve to be here".

I see. Think leaving/afking/feeding is far worse than just typing some crap.

This is the role where when you get skill gap, it becomes from hardest to impossible to comeback. Too many junglers think this is the easiest role since you don't have to deal with a constant enemy pressure in lane, but actually this is the hardest role, its just hidden behind a deeper understanding how the game works. So when you get a jungler who pressures the lanes in the right moments, ward own and enemy jungle, counter gank most of the time vs a standard route farming jungle that make ganks when he happens to be near a lane, then your team is in a deep shit if you don't have superior players on every single other role:-) This is an interesting discussion that I've thought about a couple of times: which role really is the most idiotproof? * A bad top can lead to a late game monster on the other side, e.g., a Jax or Nasus that got to freefarm. Sometimes it leads to a huge snowball against you, e.g., a Riven or Rumble that is just deleting your whole team. The least of my concerns. * A bad mid usually leads to an assassin on the other side that will delete anyone on the same screen (e.g., a fed Annie or Zed). This is true even for mages that are not traditionally assassins (e.g., an Orianna that can Q-R-W one shot). The second-least of my concerns. * A bad ADC means you miss out on a ton of damage, and it's really important to dive and shut down their ADC. * A bad support means you don't have good vision, and is also like having a bad ADC if they have halfway-decent dive and you can't otherwise peel. The second-worst outcome. * A bad jungler means being counterjungled, missing out on neutral objectives, missing out on buffs, and possibly snowballing every single opponent lane (or at least letting the other jungler choose which lanes he wants to snowball). I also think jungler builds are the most delicate/sensitive to the game situation, and a Warwick 30 minutes in with a Wriggle's Lantern and a Recurve Bow is going to be ugly. I think this is by far the worst.

Mid influences the whole map on the same scale jungle does, and I think you can lose a lane a lot harder than you can lose in the jungle. If a fed mid can't snowball bot and top they doing it wrong. Most mid champs better gankers than must jungles champs. A bad mid feeds and jump starts the opponents best play maker.
