It's a real safe lane that you can freeze hard as soon as you hit 2. Mao basically needs jungle pressure otherwise he is up shit creek without a paddle. You out trade him hard, have lower cds, don't have to auto for sustain, and have significantly stronger early game item timings. In the time he is getting roa you're getting huge power spikes in bruta and hexdrinker. Then after those two items you can just get tanky for fights. Bring like locket to first big teamfight while he has basically uhh unstackes Rod of Ages. I've never lost to a Tree on Garen. You become raid boss status easily in that matchup. | ||

I believe his winrate in korea is also pretty high in soloq | ||

He's like <50% winrate in ton of matchups in soloq. The only matchups he wins >50% are Jax, Rengar, and Renekton. I don't think Rumble is even that good at forcing fights, or initiating it. He's much better at following up hard initiation, or disengage. | ||

Garen's steroids are all neutral though - meaning that they don't cause you to favor resists or health, unlike for example Rammus. | ||
