You guys are forgetting the 10/10 reduction on armor/MR from exhaust. Flash as an escape is only make up for mistakes. lvl 1 invasion is pretty much shit for almost all of the champs I listed - jarvan, rengar, elise, k6...they really dont contribute much until 2-3. Getting cheesed at level 2 as purple @ red buff with exhaust isnt that bad, since having exhaust means the potential to outplay any cheesers - Lee, Yi, Rengar, Jarvan, Xin etc. Ignite is obviously better early on for level 2 cheeses tho. It also helps that almost all the junglers I listed have some ability to escape/engage, so flash becomes secondary rather than primary. However, once mid game starts rolling. My job as an assassin/brusier jungler is to either delay or decimate opponent squishies - flash might help me get in or get out, but exhaust's contribution to the entire team fight is just much more pronounced - especially when opponent has a fed carry. Definetely not saying flash is bad, just not as useful in games where its usually at least a kill a minute, with teamfights and skirmishes occuring right from the start for wards and early buffs. Flash might help you not give up a kill/obtain a kill, exhaust on the right target will just flat out win the teamfight. | ||

To be honest, the item optimization isn't that big of a deal. Biggest problem is how they play it out. Chances are, he's shit because he plays like shit, the item choices are just reflective of that. | ||

Assuming that he isn't a shit champion (based on numbers) wont they basically have to rework it every patch? Or at least every patch that changes the strength of turrets/minions or the average time turrets are taken down? Other than that though, he looks like a really cool and innovative champion. | ||
