It felt good in lane and when farming, but the mana regen was fairly pointless in tower sieges because I wasn't getting to auto much. And I didn't finish building it until laning was pretty much over, so.... | ||

I think this is one of two key flaws of ER, but while the "there is no regen until completed" gets talked about a lot, the fact that autos are sometimes hard to come by during sieges and positioning battles around neutral objectives rarely does. | ||

1. No regen until completed, as described. This makes the effect kicks in really, really late until you farmed all 3200g of it. 2. Regen requires autoattacking. I think this is really serious. Let's face it, ADCs are not Swain/Karthus. When an ADC/Jayce uses a lot of mana, it's because the said ADC wants to poke from long range. When you are poking, ER doesn't really do too much because you don't get a lot of chances to autoattack. | ||

I am considering mining (almost) every player's league rank once every 2-4 weeks, and try to detect gross changes (e.g. a player was Bronze with 200+ games played, then 25 games later he is Gold). It'll be curious to see how many people are "believed" to be boosted. | ||

It's not just team mates being retarded either. If you are defending and getting several autos that is a miracle, and often it's better to blow up the wave while pushing to stop the other team from killing your minions. Plus neutral objectives often don't allow for much aaing. "Situational midgame item" is not a recipe for success in this game. Even worse, enough buffs to fix the item would probably break the game. | ||
