reddit titles always have ridiculously bad grammar, "junglers are not entitled to win your lane for you." How can you be entitled to do work for someone else, should be "laners aren't entitled to junglers helping you win the lane."

gnar has a lot of ae dmg plus CC, especially near any walls or turrets (and all objectives have one of those around somewhere).
His laning also looks strong.


I guess the problem is that you want his big form for fights and his small form for cleanups, so you have to engage at specific times and if you get disengaged or otherwise delayed, you have the wrong form avaliable.
Not being able to controll wether you are a weak ADC or a beastly bruiser with a lot of ae and CC will be the main competetive problem i guess.


I would maybe build 1 MR item and 1 armor item and the rest maybe damage or 1 more def item depending on who is fed.
Probably start with a damage item or at least half a damage item like cutlass or bruta.

I think in the spotlight they suggested Tri/Botrk => Tank. Doesn't seem all that different from the Irelia/Jax mold in that setup.

Also they are likely the worlds best Jannas anyway

The author is sensationalizing this pretty hard. Roaming supports aren't anything new and this comp was VERY hit or miss.

The example game wasn't super meaningful, but the article wasn't bad whatsoever. The idea of farm allocation as a basis of picking compositions is something that most LoL players don't understand.

Too bad its basically irrelevant considering the lack of Scrolls of TP and true hard carries in LOL. PLus he actually listed ZAC as a position 5 hero in one of the comps. I can't think of a more ridiculous idea. Even when people jungled him he was played as a high 4/low 3, and people preferred him top as a high3/low2.

Because in LoL you can't allocate farm with the same granularity as in DotA. Also items are pretty important because LoL has less "I have this item, now I can get no gold for the rest of the game" items. If you'd let your Zyra support farm a Liandry's, or a Zhonya's for your Morg support, the farm taken away to buy that can put your higher pos way behind, and the utility brought by the items won't be able to offset that.

Also even if it's harder to jungle in DotA, the plethora of camps and the fact that you can stack them to "save for later" means that you don't necessarily lose much gold by ganking and being active and stuff. And then you can easily funnel it to someone with enough dps (or AoE, like Sand King), You can't do that in LoL and the conservation passive means that you lose overall gold if you try to funnel the jungle income to a non-jungler.

For reference, Nightblue has been playing it all afternoon on stream.
Full tank jungle and still deal silly damage, was just normals but maybe you can catch up on the vod later.
