I played a normal two days ago, where champ select got cancelled like 4 or 5 times in a row for "Player failing to select a champion" though I'm pretty sure they were hovering something everytime. | ||

The message is bugged, that just means someone dodged. Unrelated: Been playing my smurf the last couple days, my god I forgot how slow progress is on getting champs/runes without spending $. Most of the good junglers also seem to be 4800-6300, ouch. | ||

The problem is that i am not a duo. If i am duoing, then yes, i can act like that. However, most of the time i am only a support. And noone ever listens to supports. People only listen to others if they have 5/1/x stats. So if they don't see them, they don't believe me that they exist. And coordinating with a random adc to kill the jungler when they are in full panic OMG I AM GETTING GANKED GOTTA RUN mode is really hard. I'd be kind of interested as to why not every jungler does this gank, as it appears to be so incredibly effective. Mids never ward. I have no idea why this is the case even with free wards, but they just don't. | ||

The even crazier splitpushing alone made it worth it over Lich Bane/MPen boots, but in teamfights, each E swing felt like a Fiddle ulti. | ||

The only solution to your first-stated problem is pinking the tri-brush early on (after first back typically) and then keeping pressure on said pink ward with your adc and you will be fine. There is no other real solution, but this solution is used constantly at my MMR (low diamond thrash shit, but u get the point). The reason is, that it's too risky for purple's team support to actually face-check the brush (in case blue jungler shows up) and the lack of ward's early on makes it even harder. They have 2 realistic shots with their yellow trinket, but it usually fails since purple ADC will lose several creeps trying to ensure map control and it often ends up with you having the tri-brush for yourself, while purple support will control the river-brush with a pink (typically). My smurf is actually OK. The only "expensive" champion I got is Noc. When he is not available I can still jungle with Amumu, WW, or Yi. For other lanes, I play Kat (second most expensive champion I got), Soraka, Ryze, TF, Ashe, Janna. I also got Sona for free during NA regionals 2012. | ||
