If you say a gold player is "bad", what does that mean? Is he bad compared to the Top .1%? Bad compared to silver? Bad compared to bronze? Remember a MASSIVE amount of the LoL playerbase is Silver or below, being gold alone means you are either REALLY lucky with teamates (go play the lotto if you are that lucky), or you are better than most LoL players. Anyone that below LCS level isn't just "bad", they are "bad" when compared to that level. League isn't about making good plays, it's about not making bad ones and capitalizing on when your opponent makes a bad play. Every "good" play is just a result of an opponent having made a bad play, and you capitalizing on it. The main way to improve is to fix all the mistakes you're making, and that requires recognising them, and for gold/plat players, that's going to be a shitload of mistakes being made constantly. The first part of improving is recognising just how shit you actually are, and how many mistakes you're making, and how many mistakes your opponent is making, (which you then double fuck up by not capitalising on.) You can't get good unless you realise quite how shit you actually are. /source, I'm fucking terrible tt Totally late to the party, but this post is golden doggiedog, listen to the wisdom

Usually have comparable damage to your mid laner. It's banay If you learn when Morgana/Karma should be build as tanks instead of damage they get even stronger. I can see Morg going full CDR tank at times. Bind all day and not die during ult is appealing if your team needs a beefier frontline, but I don't understand tank Karma. You want to build some AP. Your whole deal in teamfights is an AOE shield, which you want to be as strong as possible. How does being a tank help that? Tank karma works the same way. Bind all day, slow all day, shield all day. Mantra w back up to enough HP and keep binding. You do it in the same situation you build tank Morg in. When your team needs a front line but doesn't have a jungler or top that will take the role and you are against a team which can initiate through your poke/siege.

How does one survive the gank where the enemy comes through your own jungle via mid? Especially early on you just can't ward against that. If you ward your own tribush you are still dead when you see the guy. If mid wards reasonably, you are fine, but mid never wards. If you walk and ward for mid you leave your ADC alone for 30+ seconds, which usually doesn't end well. I guess the solution is "don't push if you are on that side", but that usually means that you lose the lane anyways. Also hard to convince your ADC of that. This is a problem i have had for quite i while. Usually it isn't that hard because for some utterly inexplicable reason junglers rarely gank via that path. No matter what i do, i can't come up with a solution that is better then "Mid has to ward that path", but that doesn't really help because that never happens.

Disclaimer: In the last month I have played a single game of blue side support (DuoQ with LPL All-Star Kyrie "Mejais SoulStealer" Clinic). It was at a glorious Gold 5-Gold 3 MMR. 1) If Mid wards that path then you are just fine 2) If you know their Jungler is not around then (is currently showing in top lane) you can do whatever the fuck you want 3) If your Jungler is around and you are pushing because you're stronger than their bot lane (either you chunked them with harass or they're just a weaker duo) then ping like crazy and it will be free triple kill 4) If the enemy bot lane is in a position where they can't aid a gank because they're pushed in to tower at half HP with two creep waves built up then you can still do whatever you want because you can just turn and kill their jungler 2v1 when he comes from behind 5) If its very likely that you're about to get double killed because they have a ganking jungler that hasn't shown anywhere and you're pushed up and guaranteed to lose the 2v3 even though you have the stronger creep wave (you got chunked low on HP; they have high HP and strong all-in/gank assist; the enemy jungler does massive DPS and you can't burst him down 2v1 before the enemy laners show up) then you should probably just play like bitches and stay out of range of the enemy duo engage so that you can navigate around the gank coming.
