I really hope all the people who this is happening too are like 15 and younger so they can still grow up. you should be embarrassed for caring about something!

I really hope all the people who this is happening too are like 15 and younger so they can still grow up. you should be embarrassed for caring about something! Its less about caring about something and more about getting angry meaninglessly. The same reasons why people are embarrassed at having emotions that don't match the correct setting (IE screaming really loudly and angrily at a dinner table in the middle of a restaurant). I don't think its as much embarrassing as I think its misplaced emotion. Instead of getting angry, I find that staying calm and remedying the situation makes me feel a lot better. For instance, if someone on my team is getting pissed, it makes me feel worse by arguing with them. Instead I find it a lot easier, and more cathartic tbh, to just tell them that they should calm it and look at the game in terms of overall winning and losing than having a bad score or something like that. Other people need to release that tension and get angry, its the same in physical sports, like fighting in hockey or decking someone going up for a dunk; the difference is that in league there is not nearly as positive a way of releasing tension that is present in physical sports, which makes the angry response the most common one. That's my theory at least, and probably at least slightly wrong haha.

Curious as to any thoughts on it. As interesting (and probably more useful) as it is, splitting the gold itself up in that fasion would drastically effect how the game is currently played. So having a new system that takes several paragraphs to explain to the fans and a stat that can't easily be collected by a single individual is also difficult to process for mass viewership. Meanwhile everyone who has a brain can know what KDA is and how it effects each player based off a very simple statistical graph and makes it easier for the mass viewership, some of whom don't play anywhere near as much as others. It can also be easily calculated by just about anyone from looking at the game stats without actually looking at the actual game itself. I think also in general people don't just randomly go "oh he has better KDA he is the better player" unless they are completely oblivious about the scene.

I realize it's stupid as hell, but I can't help myself. Chat restriction instead of bans is pretty nice though, would hate to get banned.

Curious as to any thoughts on it. I fucking hate KDA as a statisic, this one is a definite improvement, and looking at the rankings at the bottom it seems to be somewhat accurate to player skill, although it still is tilted heavily towards being on a good team, like not a single top 3 team player drops below the 2nd column. Cop being 8th is also dicy, although this is due to the same reasons his KDA has always been good and not exclusive to your statistic. I'm curious what the raw Kill Share rank looks like, without deaths being factored

To put the shoe on the other foot: Aren't people embarrassed that random people raging at them online hurts their feelings? Like, I don't care what a person types in chat, I laugh it off. If Reginald and Dyrus duo on my team and call me a shitter while playing the game well, I could care less. Meanwhile, if jackoff #7 decides to pick Katarina ("Because Kat Main huehue") when we already have a first pick Leblanc, that actually affects my game.

its like in a real sport, if you lose or fuck up you swear under your breath or punch the dirt, you dont get to feel better about the situation for only yelling at the kid on the other team instead of punching your team mate.
