Flat armor didn't get buffed. Every champ's base armor did. It was nerfed by 3.5. If I don't run flat armor I still got that "buff" that you mistakenly attributed to the runes.

That's part of why the flat armor runes are very good in comparison to scaling ones. I also think that laning is very important and gaining an advantage in lane likely is more important than having 320 armor instead of 310 in the lategame.
It depends on the lane but I still think that it's the safest choice that's not really ever bad.

Flat armour yellows are still good the majority of the time. Scaling armour or health are good situationally.

I wish Riot just gave you a choice, you either get IP or runes for games you play. If you choose IP, same thing. If you choose runes, you get a rune if you win, nothing if you lose.

I feel TF is now a lot better than before. Previously he felt almost unplayable, but now I think I can manage to get him to work once I brush up on his mechanics a bit (I haven't played him in a while).
One thing I really want to try, but cannot due to IP constraint, is to run scaling CDR glyphs on him. I think that has a lot of potentials.

I feel Lich Bane nerf and the subsequent W + E ratio buff played hugely in my favour. I actually don't really enjoy building Lich Bane first on TF - I usually get it second or third - so the ratio compensation serves as a pretty good buff for me.

btw I went to watch NA LCS live yesterday, and it was really cool Got pics with CLG, Dyrus, Krepo and stuff. A fangirl of Doublelift had basically an anxiety attack over meeting/taking a picture with Doublelift, laid down/in fetal position from excitement or anxiety from meeting the liftlift. Cheering live was cool too. The studio is kinda small and really cold though.
I also had a TSL4 poster, lol. I met also another Teamliquid guy, ghost??? or something like that. Q_Q Sorry, I forgot exactly. He takes pics and stuff.

Yeah, but I usually go dcap -> zhonya -> lb -> void. Sometimes I also get an Athene's for the CDR.
