So has anyone tried AP Yasuo yet? Just dash through everything and then apply lichbane with Q? Shame they reduced the ratio from the 1 its was in beta.

His Q applies onhits to first target...does the 3rd cast tornado apply them at all?

They just nerfed everything although I don't think he'd have been OP even without all those nerfs. Especially that 10% crit dmg reduction. Was that really a huge problem?

Going for AP seems like a waste, it's only a 300(+0.6) skill. that's an enormous pain to set up. 300+1 as his only AP skill would only have been reasonable.

I really wouldn't mind if they made Yasuo's E always have 0.1s cooldown and made the travel speed increase per level, up to 2x what it is now at max rank. Building up stacks takes forever and you're a sitting duck in that time. I feel like if I go through the effort of building up stacks and building shield, I should be rewarded with something more than losing half my hp and dealing a normal AP nuke's worth of damage without even any special effect.

If E dealt physical damage and procced on-hits and the mark duration and travel speed scaled with aspd and you actually could EQ in melee it would make far more sense.


Currently his ult and its effect are good but how are you planning on landing that? Tornado pretty much requires EQ and that pretty much requires you to not be in melee. Then you're stuck with no CC and no gapcloser and no movespeed boost because you waste them all to land the ult in the first place as your opponent just runs away to wait out the ult buff duration.



However, maybe we're just completely wrong with our assumptions. Perhaps he's meant to be played as a support along with someone with a knockup? Wind wall would be his primary utility, as well as a knockup extension for specific comps. Maybe he's not even supposed to work alone?

Oh I don't think AP will be viable but it sound not unplayable and seems really fun. Also the E is single target obscenely spammable, so spellvamp should make him like an immovable object in lane lol.

Yeah I was really sad when they brought it down to .6. 1 may have been enough to give him a wonky off-spec like trist or varus etc. Its really a shame they don't allow that anymore, it really wouldn't hurt anyone.

I heard a rumour that Gunblade is quite tasty on him. Haven't seen it though.

On Yasuo lane counters, he might do well vs current mids, but some older mid laners would do quite well vs him I bet. Someone like Malzahar would shit all over him I suspect.

Maybe Gunblade would be the way to go, with spell vamp quints. Maxing E first and spamming in on every minion all day. Would give him some decent sustain at least.

Starting to play seriously for the first time since preseason patch and still unclear on some stuff. So when you last hit the tower you get more gold and your team gets a smaller amount right? If minions kill it does everyone get the smaller amount of gold?

There is basically a radius for the bonus good pool. If no one is there is is lost.

Maybe? Ive only played two top Quinn games in the last 2 days. Both had annies on our team. I matched up against a Rengar and a Tryn. My summoner ID is same as my ID here

The difference between a good Quinn player and say me is much much less impactful than it ought to be, and then assume that the Quinn player is garbage and rage etc. I'm not whining about it, merely explaining the reason why "people get so salty about it".

What's the advantage of quinn over Vayne for a douchebag ranged bully top? They are both like impossible to close on 1v1, but vayne scales better and can't be itemized against as easily. I guess quinn is a bit safer against ganks after 6.

Not comparable at all. Vayne is terrible. I consider her a free loss every time she's in my team. In toplane she's super easy to beat by like, any toplaner with a speedboost or gapcloser. Or magic. Or anything.

Isn't the idea to try and pick a champ that can bully and impact your lane opponent? Shes not much more agile then most 'mobile' top laners, and is inherently much more squishy. Id imagine someone like Jayce would be much more of an annoyance. I guess I just dont understand why she'd get more hate/rage then all the other top lane bullys -shrug-
