I disagree with this a lot. Baron is prioritized due to how staggering the buffs are when compared to Dragon. That buff is being changed. Hopefully this is just a first step in Riot attempting to even out the difference between top and bottom side of the map. It seems interesting. There's a huge part of me that is still hoping for alternating baron/dragon spawns in game.

I dunno, you'd have to test it. It depends on how the skill is coded in the game... Most next hit abilities proc thornmail damages though, except for like Parrleey. That being said, most Nasus will have a reasonable amount of MR so Thornmail would likely only tickle them anyway.

Thornmail reflects both physical and magic damage; the only determining factor in its trigger is whether the attack is defined as proccing on-hit effects. For example, Warwick's Infinite Duress deals only magic damage, but still procs Thornmail's unique passive. Nasus Q procs sheen so it does proc on hit effects. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Thornmail You should always check the wiki first. Imo, most of my questions can be answered there.

![]() (Also if it works, then despite having a bunch of MR Nasus will still take 30% of 700-900 damage which can easily mean 150-200 HP with each Q if he only has 100 MR, although his passive will indirectly reduce that further.) Edit: after checking, this one only had SV for MR (rest thornmail+GH+tabi+sunfire+triforce, so no wonders he couldn't get through my 300 armour Mundo while the cleavers mostly ignored thornmail and chunked him for my teammates to finish off).

It's definitely not an excuse to avoid the fact that we were completely wrong. The kit is good but if numbers aren't good, it's shit. Simple as that. The q changes were huge, especially removing the double mana bug. And giving quite a bit of mana regen as well. Those were huge in making him bearable to play in lane. Without those changes he wasn't much of a lane threat. Now with tons more mana he's become a Draven in lane.

But for Lucian it was known after two days at worst that his Q sometimes cost double mana, so you can't exactly blame it for "Lucian's so trash!" because we knew to evaluate this as a non-expected behaviour when deciding what's good or not for him. And people still believe his ult is trash, despite it not having been changed much since release, because they think that unless it bursts harder than Collateral Damage (but I'm beating a dead horse here, Super Mega Death Rocket already blows it out of the water) it's a bad damage ability.

Never use a skin. Every player I've seen with a skin just gets bullied so hard because they the only recognizable champ.

Diana and Rengar fundamentally warped how the game was played and, drove the shift from how the game was played at Worlds to how the game was played at IPL5. Zyra's strength was more obvious, but Diana and Rengar were definitely more "overpowered". Why was Diana so extreme? She's a little tankier than Katarina and Akali but I don't see how she's so fundamentally different from them that she warped the game and they didn't. Rengar is obvious, don't need an explanation there lol

So, like, was the spiritual predecessor to our midlane problems: Assassins that cant be harassed out of lane with ease.
