there is no point in complaining, there are certain people in key positions at Riot who will never listen. Only to the voices in their heads.....

I think in our modern age technology has evolved to become more addictive. The things that don't give us pleasure aren't used as much. Work was never meant to be fun, but doing it makes us happier in the long run.

Yeah, I dunno... Thing is they changing the two roles I like, and from what I have seen, I dont think I really like the changes.

I've always liked champs with well defined power curves. Panth, Nasus, Sona, Lulu etc. I feel like the majority of those champions just wont have that anymore, and will just be homogenized by the support gold changes.

The change to Wards is just dumb. Lol already has way to much vision. Against competent players you can never gank anyway when they have to pay for wards.

I havn't played DotA for probably 6 years now, I feel like I should just go play it, it seems to cater to the things I enjoy/want out of LoL anyway.


Two things are important here:

Don't latch on to numbers they have stated as if we're going to be playing them for a year after they come into effect. This is pre-pre-season, for goodness sake.

Moreover, I understand that people love speculation, but you can't say they're going to increase vision. Everyone buying wards =/= more vision since there are wards limits, counterwarding is changing, and Riot is reworking vision heavily (possible nerfbats to swing). Riot has nerfed and buffed wards before and unless they are asleep they are not going to release 1 version and say "Ok we're done!"

If anything, the way pinks work makes it way harder to deny vision of a zone unless you're actively protecting it, which means you'd rather use sweeper to clean wards before you attempt a drake, and keep the pink for, say, your lane bush, which you can keep guarding.

If they make denying vision harder, then it makes vision better. There'll be less vision overall but that's because noone friggin' wards in soloQ, in organised play 3 wards/person is more than enough to cover everything you want to.

But, again, we don't know if it will be 3 wards per person when all is said and done, if ward durations will change, if ward costs will change, what kind of CDs the trinket abilities are on, or if vision wards will be buffed (vision range, hp, limit, or cost). Any of these changes could happen before the vision rework hits the PBE, before it hits live, and certainly before S4 starts so saying that there will be more or less vision come S4 (that is, complaining about how said vision might ruin the game FOREVERS) is silly.

Please don't lump me in with everyone else, and then pretend like I'm talking about the sky falling and stuff like that. I don't think I said anything like the "sky is falling". I'm not exaggerating when I said that the change scares me, but that's all I said. I don't think I claimed anything more than what I claimed. I sincerely despise that specific change, and the idea behind it. I don't understand why more people aren't looking at that specific change, and questioning why they would add something in the game like that. I don't care about the numbers, because to me, the whole concept is wrong. To me, the idea of a shared gold system[in regards to last hitting] is truthfully not one that should ever be in a game of this nature(moba,arts, whatever the fuck you want to call it).

Executioner’s Emblem executes minions below 200 health and grants gold to both you and the nearest ally when you last hit. Your ally gains a small gold bonus on top of this. This effect can happen up to twice a minute.

Not to mention the bad NA baron throw, westrice vs kassadin's chase(diving two towers), then westrice dying to that kass that got away and came back due to homeguards(but still having to use his zhonyas). gg
