I remember somebody having a very good idea 1 year ago. Create an item which costs 475g named «key to the jungle», and make it so that you need it to be able to hit jungle monsters. There, problem solved. Good game design.

To be worth for junglers over laners, it'll probably not be cost effective until like ~10+ jungle camps taken, I'd assume.

Very few top end players make great coaches most fail out. The coaches that work out tend to be the ones that barely made it, or didn't quite make it. And it for sure is not a requirement to be great at it. Now if there are other reasons why him in particular is not qualified such as being arrogant or whatever, fine, but his play level isn't much if any factor. He could be in silver cause he has horrible mechanics. His league level is not a great indicator, Also, as I mentioned they arn't balanceing the game for pro level play. They are more likely balancing it for where most of there players are at. Not to take a huge shit on Morello, but i for one, have TERRIBLE mechanics and i play in Diamond. I definitely agree with your point "good players doesn't make good coaches", but more often i see Morello contradict himself and/or the changes they made to the game, only to slighty reverse the changes later in time.

Doesn't mean that one of the categories is better than the other, but it can provide depth to understanding the difference in LoL-players.

Like, when Riot publicly makes a statement that "we're not ever again releasing a champion with manaless sustain because it's clearly an issue", and then they reveal Rengar - that's a problem.

It is probably true that being really good at the game makes it easier to understand the game, but the idea that it is impossible to understand the game without being really good at the game is obviously and demonstrably false, and yet people still try to argue it. What league is Yango I wonder? You guys all give Yango a ton of respect for game knowledge (not that he doesn't deserve it) but I wonder if he's Diamond league.

But that's not the argument I'm trying to present. I was referring to the fact that Riot directly contradicted themselves in a very short time frame. I love that Riot communicates with the community as much as they do. I'm generally happy with most of what Riot does and tries to accomplish. But that doesn't change the fact that there has been more than one instance where it's been blatantly apparent that there are likely some communication issues within the organization.
