wei2cool has a point. At the moment support is that chill role people play so they don't get blamed. Buffing costs won't make the support suddenly stop buying oracles. It'll just make them poorer. They could revert the oracles changes so you lose it on death and supports would still throw all their gold into clearing and setting up wards.

It goes deeper than that. Oracles removes vision, sure, but in the current state of LoL, this comes hand in hand with "monopolising vision". In DotA, that is quite difficult until gem is bought, and gem itself is a very expensive item with no cost-effectiveness apart from its one purpose. Beyond that, gem itself, is a risky item if one team is not absolutely dominating teamfights, and even then, the presence of buybacks and tp scrolls makes everything less predictable.
In LoL, Oracles is far more important beginning from the mid game to control vision, not only removing it. Because of its importance, rebalancing vision in LoL will be very delicate.

Of course all of this vision talk only applies to the very highest levels of play where oracles and wards are more than common. Teams often place 2-3+ before minions even arrive in lane.

i think it's more likely cuz they gave him a million mechanics nobody can even read until they've played him 80 times so he's kind of hard to adjust
