Nah but actually I just have a lot to do. I have to finish up my army for the apocalypse game this weekend, have to prepare the final session for my current campaign, and then just have the usual work and shit too.

Also because "busy work" for new campaigns is the best.

I can't help but theory craft some of the champions as I read through exalted books lol
Hopefully one campaign's ending means more time for this one soon.

Well if you want to try something, maybe you can poke around and try building your characters in Exalted. I still don't know that much about it, so I'd like to see the player's reactions to trying to fit their character into the system.
My friend highly recommended Unisystem as an alternative if Exalted doesn't work out, but that's up to you guys.

I actually find the exalted lore, when you take it in its entirety, is pretty depressing. The characters you create are all doomed by the curse to become complete jerkwads if not completely evil as they get closer to 1000 years old. The wyld is working on destroying all order, the "dead" primordials have caused a leak in the process of reincarnation that is slowly destroying everything, and the gods only overthrew the primordials in the first place to go off playing games that are basically crack and so can't be bothered to have anything to do with the world.
Obviously without conflict RPing would be pretty boring but Exalted sets up what feels like a million world-ending dooms that would take a few dozen more steps up the epic ladder and a DM willing to invent the solution for any exalted to solve. If there were no DMs the world of Exalted would be pretty much screwed.

A week or so ago, Soniv (jcarlsoniv) mentioned in the OT thread that doing a tabletop RPG with TL LoL people would be pretty fun and mentioned there are some great online tools (like roll20.net) to do so. Several people agreed and Requizen picked up the slack and created this thread for a League of Legends-based tabletop set in the world of Valoran. The players would be powerful fighters or mages in the world, seeking to enter the League for a variety of reason. The campaign would tell the tale of their quest to enter.
After several pages in which prospective players created characters so that they could play in the campaign (to a cap of 5 players right now to make the game manageable), a few were chosen to take part in the first campaign as GM'd by Req himself. Now we're trying to figure out times to actually DO the campaign, as well as a ruleset to use so that we don't have to create an entirely new system to play this LoL-flavored game. Currently, we favor Exalted, but we haven't tested it yet so we're not really sure.
Hopefully this will start at some point in the near future and it will be streamed for the interested to watch! Of course, there's nothing stopping another willing GM to go through with the same concept (or another) and a different group of players.

That's what Player Characters are for! How many times would Teams Rocket/Aqua/Magma/Galactic/Plasma have taken over the world if not for a random PC from Pallet/New Bark/Littleroot/Twinleaf/Nuvema/Aspertia/Vaniville!

I still haven't looked into Exalted at all, but I may take a stab at creating a character tonight.

Sure, I'll probably be around tonight. I've even created an Exalted character before, so I can dredge up what I remember about it all. We can figure out what the best parts of the system to adapt to LoL stuff are.

Asmo has a good point and I also figure this game will adopt more of the system and less of the doomed universe. hopefully.
Or maybe the summoners only broke the world with war to go play games which were basically crack yolo queue.

Well I figured the lore aspect of Exalted would more or less be thrown out because Runeterra is a completely different universe. I'm interested in how you'll adapt charms for more regular magically flavored things like fireballs tho.

Yeah we're only adopting the mechanics for play. The lore is all Runeterra and Valoran and the League. But yeah... skill translation from Charms to Champion Abilities will be interesting.*

Exalted is really cool, I've played in some one-shot's run in Exalted.

I um might need to rewrite my lore soon-ish hopefully they update Jinx on to the PTR soon. Go figure Riot would change Vi's backstory the day after I write my lore based around it.
