Awhile ago I heard champions get "split" into many copies when they're summoned so that summoners can have many matches with the same champion at once. This kinda gives me the impression that they take the game too seriously from the lore context and that the next thing they'll say is that summoners "queue" up for matches on each battlefield and use money to dress up their champions. | ||

Also I kinda wanted to watch worlds and play FFXIV anyways.  I'll be back later-ish tomorrow night, but this should help tide y'all over.My initial thoughts for Charms include 4 unique ones for everybody's "abilities" then some basic ones for Summoner Spells like Flash, Barrier, etc. (unless we want to stick with the lore behind those and these guys wouldn't have them). | ||

Characters would not have summoner spells, seeing as you're not summoned. You're also not specifically limited to 4 abilities and a passive, but if you want to do that for RP's sake then that's cool. | ||

That could make combat pretty cool. 4 abilities and some sort of passive with limited uses, mixed in with attacks? I'm not sure how combat in Exalted works, or the degree of difficulty that enemies would be. But that seems incredibly entertaining. | ||

Yeah, I kinda thought that might be the case, but I thought that was the best way to extend the "Charms" mechanic seeing as (in theory) we'd only have four (five w/ passive) abilities. WATEVER we'll figure it out.Also, if you've read the Character Creation chapter in the book, this is a simplification of what you need. But don't look at this before that because it'll make no goddamn sense. | ||

4 charms aww man that would be too few! (I'm thinking about the archery ones (they should put an unmissable instakill spell in LoL hue)) and what about other awesome stealthy charms that are not for combat? how likely is it this campaign is entirely combat focused? | ||

Er, I find that many campaigns have combat involved often, but I'm not really sure as to how much yet. Seeing as it is Valoran and you're prospective champions, I'd like to see combat pretty often, but it won't be the central role of the campaign. Lol Smite recently added Thanatos who has an ult that instagibs a god you hit if they're below a certain health threshold. It's pretty fun | ||
