I am starting to get bored of seeing all Zed and Ahri all the time.
Sure sign they'll be nerfed, don't worry. That's just how Riot rolls.
Soon you'll be far more upset about Corki, so don't worry at all!
Edit: Also, played support Fidd for the first time today. SO FUN.

Zed and ahri are only good because ryze got nerfed.

'Fraid you're hoping too much. They've already proven that's not their game.

Nerfing two champions is a lot easier and overall more stable than buffing several different ones.

well eventually they will run out of fotm stuff to nerf then everyone can be viable

we should start a petition

It is a ploy by riot to make money. All the OP champions always cost 6300 to unlock and people are too lazy to grind that out so they just buy them

The metagame will adjust. People will start playing Ahri+Zed counters soon(tm). Maybe, people are slow to adapt, as always. People complain alot about Riot nerf-buff cycles, but they've been much better about it now, and the nerfs were justified. Increasing his MS bonus slowly are good changes designed to fit him into a more unique niche, without giving him too much power.
I firmly believe we'll start seeing a rise in Vladimir mids to counter Zed+Ahri (very good lane pick vs Zed, and is a pretty good lane bully vs Ahri).
Vlad is less versatile then either Zed or Ahri given their Assassin status, but Vlad is a perfectly valid pick against both of them, and does very well vers both.

LoL is like an ecosystem UNNERF RYZE we should start a petition No. Ryze is like the worst champion that could possibly exist.
Buff some other fun APC to high tier instead. Syndra, Cassiopeia, etc.

God lux is strong in team fights. Love her. Went 13-8-27 and mustve saved a million lives. q is so good at helping retreat, w is OP with all the CD reduction, e slow then damage as they reach the edge
e + r in a team fight does insane damage too
I am getting her q range down really good now and my early game has improved immensely. Probably my favorite champion atm.
|
Lux just has a great champion design. Easy to learn - hard to master, with plenty of skill based abilities that have a smooth learning curve and feel coherent. Her character is also memorable and she seems easy to do balance adjustments on for Riot.
There is acutually a fun topic to discuss... We always bach on champions with inherently bad design, but which champion do we think are the best designs Riot has made so far?
I think Lux, Lulu, Mundo, Amumu and Caitlyn are examples of good designs. Mostly due to their intuitive gameplay and usability at most levels (Amumu and Mundo are not the most popular atm, but that is more due to the metagame imo).
|
singed, lux, lulu, janna, orianna, vayne. they all bring something unusual to the experience that goes deeper than a strange mechanical twist, the counterplay to them is effective and fun for both parties, they're easy to understand, they do exactly what you think the character would do, that character is reasonably interesting, their skills don't fight each other, and they're easily balanced.
i would not describe mundo as a particularly good design.
|
Well, Mundo might just be me. +1 on Orianna and Singed though.
I'm not so sure about Vayne though. It seems like half the time someone does well with her, its too easy to blame it on Vayne being "OP", rather then the guy actually just playing better than you. Her kit is fun and balanced though.
