Sounds like I'd have to get another jungler ready, J4 maybe? His playstyle is pretty close, although he's much less damage later and I can't build lizard first as easily to dunk people on him. Damn, I managed to lose to Shen with Jax despite an early gank that gave me a kill, an assist, and double buff while he got an assist. I guess him hitting 6 first and getting something like 10+ cs because my team was passive as hell after the wave naturally hit his turret and I roamed explained it, but I still somehow end up losing to Shen even after level 6 pretty regularly since I started going Triforce instead of BotRK (which was before the buff). I guess I make the trades last too long. I should just double tap a minion -> hit Shen then gtfo as soon as he answers. I'm probably losing trades because I don't wait for him to burn his passive on a minion right before I attack, and because I don't disengage fast enough so he can use his shield. I still do more raw damage than him, but it doesn't matter because with his shield and sustain and my lack thereof I end up lower than him. Jax is supposed to naturally have the advantage so it's definitely me not thinking enough rather than a mechanics problem. Also Shen tends to have a bigger creep wave against me because he can harass with Q and I tend to just shove into his tower and leave lane when I notice my wave's pushing, since Jax can't do anything to people under tower unless they're killable (which a healthy Shen isn't) so he gets a bigger wave when he pushes back. I gotta determine what's going wrong here, but shorter trades and gtfo when he uses his shield then go back in when it fades it def the first step. | ||
