EPTand do mostly share your argument Ketara except that I do prefer Bork even on Zed if there only option to escape your ult is to flash. If they flash it's worth, if they don't they are dead with either item, and Hydra is so much more well rounded for Zed whereas Bork really doesn't do much outside of his ult.

But Hydra doesn't do that much for him outside of a 100-0 engage either. What does it add to Zed outside of his full engage? wave clear? He's already got 2 waveclear abilities. I think the bildgewater cutlass just has a nicer build path in solo lane for Zed, so that's the reason BotRK is favored. | ||

Ignoring unit collision is incredibly useful on Vayne with PD though. EDIT: Hmm, Idunno. the thing is with Zephyr you're either building a pickaxe (okay AD) or Stinger, which is pure attackspeed. Vayne likes attackspeed (cuz W is an effective 4% max hp true damage steroid, which like Kogmaw's thing is sadly not as strong as it sounds) , but its pretty useless without the multiplicative scaling of AD and crit. Zeal is a really nice all in one mid-tier item. | ||

It also helps you get that BC alot quicker and BC + Wu ult is hell. I mean you could get BC first, but Hydra just offers more as a first item during early / mid game and it gives you the ability to farm shit up veeeeeeeery quickly. General wukong build - Boots -> Tiamat -> Boots 2 -> Hydra -> Bruta -> Visage -> BC -> Randuins / Sunfire | ||

You don't need the AS, it doesn't really give enough AD for him to care about it, and if you really feel like you need sticking power that bad, just run Ghost or Exhaust or something. You should have no problems sticking once you use W anyway, unless it's like Nid or something. | ||
