I wasn't complaining, just pointing out that your example happens fairly frequently. There are way bigger problems in the game than how assists are calculated. For example I'm glad they're changing the death streak gold. | ||

Here's an example. I'm Soraka in bottom lane and I'm being tower dived. I'm low and my ADC is at full health. The jungler tower diving me is a moron and going to get killed by my adc. If I heal my ADC I get an assist, even though he's at full health and not getting attacked. If I heal myself I don't get an assist, even though I'm low health and getting attacked. That's kind of counterintuitive and silly. It's worth noting that some things (Anivia Egg) are specifically coded to grant assists in this exact situation. The only real problem I can see with that is it would create weird situations in tower dives where your tower gets the kill but you get the assist off that, which might not be doable with current code no clue. I know with Anivia the egg just gives you the kill for it even if you never damage them and the tower does all the work. | ||

The lane snowballed and it was my fault, of course, for not ganking and winning the lane for ori. Knowledge is very important to doing well at LoL. I KNEW that lux would kill ori at 6. The ori obviously didn't understand the situation she was in. You can't reach through the internet and make people do things, all you can do is do the best in your role and on your champ. If you lose, then so be it. I've stopped taking it so personally. There are a lot of bad people that play this game. I played hots since it came out, and came back to LoL about three weeks ago. I've gone from bronze5 to silver1 in that time. Improving is not impossible, and moving up the ranks seems much easier then it did in season 2. | ||
