Also the AP Yi game, I think if you just sat and damaged tower when TF ulted bottom, your team would be a lot better off. You fed a kill for no particular reason, and that was a point where a lot started to go downhill. Thing about TF is, he's only scary if you let him do his thing unpunished. AP Yi can punish him effectively in two different ways- he roams nearly as well as TF (and is better in cleanup situations) and he pushes towers down like a mofo. Something fairly common a lot of TF's do is ult bottom, get a double kill for their team with their jungler, then do dragon. If you just ult and auto tower as soon as you know they're gone, you can usually straight up kill or get the tower super low (especially if it's a 4 man operation bottom and their jungler is there), and if they proceed to dragon, sometimes you can even get the second mid tower. This does several things if you're successful. One, you get back whatever your team lost from the TF ganks in global gold. Two kills bot vs one tower is 900 gold vs 750 gold (depending on shutdowns and whatnot), but the 750 gold is spread evenly amongst your team. Two, it makes it really difficult for TF to leave his lane, because you're a threat to the next tower down the line, and the enemies jungle is more open. It removes the option of their jungler doing the obnoxious 4 man ganks, or you take even more towers. It also gives you a ton of space to work as Yi, so it's incredibly dangerous for the enemy team to try to push down mid, be in their jungle, or be in the enemy jungle because you tend to get places extremely fast and if they overextend even a bit, you're a threat to punish them extremely hard by just chaining resets. It also makes it dangerous for TF to farm past a certain point without wards, because you're extremely speed and the only defense he has is gold card. AP Yi tends to rubber band a lot, so you can't get frustrated by a death here and there. Often times my scores are initially quite horrible on him (1-3 starts are not uncommon), but I've killed a turret extremely early, so the fact that I die a lot doesn't matter that much. It's not uncommon to die several times not getting an awful lot accomplished, and then completely obliterate the enemy team the next fight. That's just the nature of the champion, especially when played AP. Also if you want, I'll probably be playing him more mid, so I can send replays if you want to see what I'm talking about.

Yeah, the first chase was pretty bad, tower would have been smarter by far. I doubt that was the thing that caused the loss, but every little bit helps. I generally don't watch replays all that much, but your insight is really helpful.

Edit: Also, I suggest you might want to consider watching your own replays a day after the game. Mistakes are a lot more obvious and its easier to be less emotional over them a day after, and while its easy to make broad generalizations about why you did something wrong, some things are not so easy to identify. Like there was a point you could have conceivably gone in on a fight in your AP Yi game and probably cleaned up, but you didn't see the opportunity because you were focused on not being overly aggressive. If I were you, I would go back and look at that moment and see if you can see why we disagreed with your course of action, and whether we were right. That's not something that's easy to analyze in the heat of the moment, but becomes extremely obvious when you can go back at look at it.

I always wreck face with him mid, and top is by far my worst role, so mb I could transpose? the initial allin will be a bit harder to pull off because of the abundance of top laners who also have strong early allins or good auto harass but will still work. the real problem with playing that style fizz or any squishy all in champion build top comes after the first blood. being in a long lane makes aggression much more punishable than mid, and most champs played top can build defensively against constant allins
