Diana is still a melee champion and her items needs defensive stats to help her dive. Nashor's, beyond the AS for push, has half the max CDR, which is great for Pale Cascade. There's no way I'd substitute Nashor's with Rageblade for good reason. But Neo Vamp and lifesteal ARE defensive stats. wot? It's a triggered passive. I'd hardly consider the vamp and LS as reliable. :X
I'm just arguing that LS and SV are defensive stats, when you claim they aren't. :O

lol @ "/mute alll and tax lanes". If you are taxing lanes at a point where you shouldn't be then don't do it. Sometimes its just the best play to push a lane and allow someone to back without having a frozen lane. Yeah, but if you are taking any farm out of a lane, even if it makes sense, you should generally mute the laner there. Because he WILL flame you. No matter the situation. If he is dead for another 30 seconds and the wave is running into tower, and you only lasthit and freeze just out of turret range so he can do whatever he wants with the lane, he will still spam back and flame you for "fucking up his lane".
First off, you should NEVER mute anyone. If you're getting flamed it's important that you decide for yourself if it was right or wrong. I cant tell you how many times getting flamed ni a situation has caused me to rethink a situation and change my opinion Secondly, I get flamed for pushing badly, but whne I push and it helps more than it hurts I've actually been complimented as "finally a jungler who understands top lane". op

Considering the amumu debate back there and this, and that my two jungle mains are udyr and amumu (and being two of my highest winrate champs), I wish I had written those guides I had been thinking about writing. =/ only problem is that I haven't jungled anyone in 3.8 other than nunu, and I've been spamming adc in my pipe dream for challenger.
I may still, once i have some time, since you guys apparently play amumu and udyr far differently than I do.

TBH, you play at level where people understand the game a fair amount. I had one game where I ended up supporting and I was autoing the wave (not messing up last hits, just weakening full health minions) because we were getting shoved in by their team. My ADC started flaming me for "pushing the wave". =\ There are times when you just pretend your teammates are bots and carry the game from there.

I know pretty much everyone thinks Udyr is underwhelming and sometimes I feel like that too despite him being the champ I've played the most since I started, but he's one of my highest winrate champs and I always feel comfortable playing him. And for whatever reason he's the champ I pull off the most counterganks with and I always feel like I'm in the right place at the right time. I don't consciously plan it out or anything and maybe it's just because I play him so much but honestly, sometimes I'll play a game with him and wonder why I've been avoiding playing him to play "stronger" junglers. But that's just me.

its because he clears so effortlessly you have more time to have map awareness and can run to countergank faster

theres no reason to mute anyone if flame makes you angry you have ego issues

just because sometimes your teammates are wrong doesnt mean you should ignore all of them. For example autoing the wave because you're getting shoved is something I never even bother doing because it wont make any difference and its easy to last hit under tower vs full hp minions anyway.

Can you hit us with an abridged Udyr overview? What do you do differently? Obviously there'd be a lot of demand for something like that with the skin coming out

Udyr definitely requires a different mindset compared to your other "OP" Junglers, esp during team fights. I feel like timing is even more important with manbearbird.

He's needed a rework since he first game out.
Maybe that'll finally give me reason to buy him though when he's the final champion I don't own because I HATE HIM SO FUCKING MUCH

Also I just had a game where my Cass had 999 ping. And then left.
Riot should not start a game if someone has 999 ping :p

Sorry Neo for posting once more about this outside the subforum, I'll probably make a new thread when I write the guide, I think the most recent udyr thread is kind of underwheling.
the short version of my udyr style is that I play udyr as a counter to high skirmish ad junglers: lee, j4, xin, and to a smaller extent hecarim. I build madreds for the armor, stack cloth armors and ruby crystal/kindlegem before finishing any item, and wards. I never gank unless my flash is up and theirs is not, but instead force 2v2 skirmishes by trying to actively predict the enemy ganks by their movement through wards and contesting enemy buffs. (my build/mindset is significantly different for double ap comps as well as ap junglers)
In teamfights, I run at their enemy carries, forcing them to kite and then I turn and stun the enemy tanks and peel for my carry. I also run magic pen reds, but that's because I can only have two rune pages on the chinese server without paying money. It does help when I'm fighting tank on tank though.
