Why do you say so? Is it just because of your win-rate? I ask because I used to love Shyv in Season 2 and I really want a reason to start using her again :D
A reason ? She's viable but not FotM, that's pretty much it. It's just like Annie mid. Nobody plays it but... It works really well.
No one knowing how to play against Shyvana is probably half the reason.
Well no. Everybody learned to play against Shyvana in S2 :p You just have to learn how to play her, which means, being really abusive and acting like the whole map is yours. Works pretty well.
I had a Top lane Shyv carry really hard in a game the other day. With BorK and Wit's her damage was pretty obscene.

I mean let's face it, there's maybe 4 English commentators in the pro circuits that are good (MonteCristo, Jatt, Kobe, and even Phreak is up there). Everyone else is...pretty painful, especially if they were casting by themselves or not with one of those 4. Big reason I can't watch EU LCS.
In other news, I've come to the conclusion that before the end of the Summer Split we'll see the level 1 donation of a jungle buff to a lane become standard or at least common. The reasons are fairly straightforward:
Just the buff monster (i.e. Ancient Golem or Lizard Elder) is now sufficient to instantly hit level 2.
Being up an entire level on your laning opponent is huge. It's the whole reason the jungle was changed in the first place.
It will only take the jungler an additional 30 seconds to reach level 3, assuming they simply clear small camps instead of contesting the enemy jungle. Their map presence is essentially intact, just delayed slightly. Given how many lane swap scenarios involve junglers rushing out of the jungle to support embattled lanes, this seems a small price to pay.
There are other reasons, but those are the big ones. So long as a jungle champion constitutes a threat without red buff or can easily clear without blue, which basically means every currently popular LCS pick, this strategy involves minimal sacrifices for big rewards.
A couple pages late, but this makes me wonder if there are 1v2 picks with strong enough allins to solo kill an ad-support with red elixer and instant level 2. Forcing cautious play in a 2v1 situation in the fast tower push meta would shake things up a little, to say the least.
There were already 1v2 strats in China where the off-laner would take a camp+buff and start at level 2. I don't think I saw any all-ins, though. I imagine that bush control and 4 summoner spells had something to do with it.

I would add Deman to that list. I enjoy his shoutcasting, I think the Jatt Deman pairing was very strong in terms of play by plays, and actual analysis. But I can see how Americans might not be used to / like his accent or mannerisms.
Hah that's funny, I despise Deman probably as much as I do Rivington. Beyond his awkwardness he just doesn't know the game well and is constantly saying blatantly incorrect things in game.
The difference being though that Deman understands his job is entertainment and his co-caster is analytical. Rivington likes to try everything at once (same problem moletrap always had).

Only thing I dislike about Deman is that he will get stuck on a phrase and use it in every scentence for a while. "3000 elo"

As said, 9/0/21, and go disrespect the other team.
As onesided as that was, I feel like you could have been in his jungle even more in the early stages of the game. As long as amumu is lvl1, he cant do anything to you. So even if lux or quinn comes, you just run away because it's pretty much a 1v1 (lvl 1 amumu doesn't count. I've been lvl 11-12 versus lvl 4-5 sometimes by just living in their jungle and letting my own team take my small camps.
What's the program that edited the announcer btw? It's cool :D
Yeah for Lux, but it's Quinn I was more worried about. She got a kill on Udyr early and I had no flash, so I really didn't want to risk giving her a double kill. A little bit of safety is never bad, and, well, they didn't get ONE buff in the game :D
Yeah I guess so. But that just goes to show how good nunu is at counterjungling. You played it "safe" and "only" took all his buffs, instead of all his buffs and all his big monsters, and it still took him out of the game completely.
If you get far enough ahead, you can actually just run around stealing ALL his jungle, and make sure he never gets any experience if he doesn't go leech some off a lane. And if your lanes happen to do good, the game can be 100% over even before 10 minutes game time.
The funniest thing about counter-jungling at low elo is when you take someones buff, 95% of the time they try to counter-jungle you back. I'm up a buff and a level on you mate and in my own jungle now with only the 1 buff left on the map to be at. Wise move.
If you have a jungle, and I have a jungle, and my consume is off cooldown. My Yeti butt reaches acroooooss the river, then starts to munch on your jungle. I EAT YOUR JUNGLE, I GET THE BUFF!

Whoa, no DOA in that list? Easily the best with MonteCristo. Best jokes in the business. You think phreak puns and jokes are funny? DOA on the next level.

As an expert on puns and terrible jokes, Doa is indeed the king. His obscure nerd references are Challenger League.

See, Doa + MonteCristo is a great pairing. Doa is not a League player (or if he is, not a very high level one). However, he knows that's not his job. MonteCristo is an amazing analytical commentator and Doa, having casted GSL before, fits his part of the pairing greatly. He would be awful casting by himself, but great as a team. Chaox + someone like Doa would be awesome.
The reworked LeBlanc is up on the PBE now. I haven't played too much LeBlanc so I can't comment on balance, strength vs. current LeBlanc etc. Although I must say it was pretty nice not feeling forced to use the q + r combo. One can do pretty cool combos now, like q - w - e - ulti - q, using the second damage from the amplified e to proc the last q.

Lee mid does counter mid Evelynn (this was Froggen's secret strat towards the end of s2)

Udyr's q bonus ad dot damage is 30 at lvl 1 + 120% bonus AD over 2 seconds 30 + 37.34(1.2) = 74.808 + an auto, 96.65(+.15% from q persistant effect) = 185.9555
...okay I haven't calculated ignite, redbuff, and the armor but pretty obvious you can't oneshot her in 9/21/0, ad red/quint non-cheese scenario.
WHAT ABOUT WITH A FULL AD RUNE PAGE 21/9/0???
bonus ad = 62.76 (from runes + masteries) + 15 (red pot) = 77.76 total ad = 137.07
30 + 77.76(1.2) = 123.312 + an auto, 137.07(1.15) = 280.9425 from the first auto over 2 seconds (before armor!).
Let's say you bear her, and then q her and she magically doesn't exhaust you. That's another 137.07 before armor = 418.0125 physical damage before armor.
You have 8% arpen + 5 flat arpen from masteries, which mean she will have 37.18(.92) - 5 = 29.2056
+ 70 damage from ignite = whatever I haven't calculated executioner or havoc but you can't kill her if she takes armor reds and health quints.
...ran the calculations with no armor reds or health quints, and 343.56 damage (x1.02 from havoc) + 70 damage from ignite + 24 x 2 autos red buff damage = 468.4312 damage from popping red elixir, having red buff, and igniting before you hit your auto, after which you flash bear and then hit your q. Sona lvl 1 has 450. Without calculating executioner.
Also I don't know if putting exhaust on you would reduce q's DoT after it is applied.
This was kind of a waste of time.
EDIT: oops, forgot you wouldn't get 2 full ticks of red if you auto twice in a row. Say you get one tick from red the first auto and two ticks from the second auto, you'd still get 456.4312 damage.
EDIT2: I just realized the full ad total from runes/masteries from the wiki didn't include ignite mastery fuck this whatever I'm not calculating that again I'm an english literature major.
TL;DR if you invade blue side's red, give it to ignite red elixir full ad page 21/9/0 udyr, there is a chance that you may probably kill a lvl 1 sona with flash bear auto + tiger auto.
