Welcome to TL LoL. was my guilty pleasure to take the role of n00b annie and actually have gameplay discussions about her instead of Skin-tier discussions! :D

Ryze and Karthus are both strong generic picks but nothing exceptional. Poppy, Shaco and Eve consume your soul though I'm kind of surprised we don't see more complaints about Zac.

Hell, sometimes I go doran's blade doran's ring vs kass instead of 2x rings. Damn this is old school lol, I remember when I started playing annie in season 1, the guides I looked up at lvl 20 debated whether q max or w max was right. W gives you more burst in every scenario, though if you can get another q off (not likely) you'll even it out. leveling e will reduce your burst a lot, but do not, do not underestimate the free resists. If you're playing aggressive annie, you're going to run into the jungler sometime, and having a point in e will change you from a squishy champ to being surprisingly tanky, especially early on. 20 armor + armor yellows makes it much much harder for the jungler to kill you. If you're playing for the level 6 kill though, you don't really need it as much. Hybrid pen reds, +3 AD masteries. Can even Ignite at level 1 for 5 more AD. Way more than enough to out-trade Kass every time

Kha, Jayce, Diana, and Zac are almost never banned, even though they carry solo queue SO HARD. It reminds of last year when Morg hadn't really been ban-worthy for about 6 months at high elo or tournaments but was still a perma ban in Silver.

Permabans take quite a long time to trickle down the ranks. Bans in <Plat are 90% for team morale rather than banning actual OP champions. Before a champ is a worthwhile ban, not only does it have to be strong, but everyone has to agree that it's strong(er than the current permabans).

This was my team chat one game: oh god they have amumu goddamn it why would you not ban amumu <Amumu is support> wtf he can even support? so op <Our bot lane gets crushed> @#$% first pick doesn't even ban amumu

Very entertaining and flashy. It's great if you're that type of mood/streamer. On June 07 2013 04:17 jcarlsoniv wrote: Absolutely. You can do this even with W max. One of the best feelings is getting ignite and one last auto as they flash away past their turret, and just barely grabbing the kill because of your ludicrous range. And the skip back. Can't forget that, it's the best part! Whenever it happens to me, that skip reminds me of someone teabagging me in CS and how ashamed and dirty I feel. On June 07 2013 04:33 overt wrote: I'm not sure if anyone ever answered you but I was told that Riot is going to have a big LAN with 1 team from each of the non-sanctioned regions playing for the final worlds spot. IIRC, one team from Turkey, one team from Brazil, one team from South America, and one team from Australia. They did, but thanks! @soniv I am glad you did. It was awesome reading all that. The discussion really helped me shape how I should be approaching building champions. I was very much a cookie cutter lol player before I left for the peace corps. Hovered around 1100-1200 Elo and I am interested to see if 9 months of reading TL LoL (and not playing) can raise my Elo in a 2 week span (vacation wooooo). It's like taking a 24/7 class on League of Legends strategy and improving with fun break times for pokemon and assorted derails. @Asn thanks for being a n00b Annie! I am too, but hopefully after this I won't be haha.
