Do people build lich bane on Syndra? Someone mentioned earlier (whoever was testing Syndra support - kainzero?) that she can kite really well and I remember her auto attack animation being awesome. I loved that item on almost every AP I played. It was like having an extra nuke on a really short cooldown.

He's not going to use it for kiting, he's going to use it for doing damage at that range because that 500-700 range is his effective damage range with Gatling and Phospho Bomb.

recommended game polls in the tournament thread are a different thing to the recommended vod thread where people post links about all tournament vods they think are worth watching.

i disagree, only reason it was effective on ez is because it let him kite opponents very hard (armor during laning phase was pretty good too) but paying 3.2k gold for 125% ad every 2sec is garbage investment
and corki cant even abuse this item in half the way ezreal could

the reason I brought this up was because I was thinking about what 3v1 combo would be best for diving and I thought that Corki had by far the best combination of damage, burst, clear and an escape to boot out of all ADCs yet he is never used for that situation. On top of that he is still a good 2v2 laning ADC. All of the issues people bring up are to me, non-factors. That plus I've seen recently a couple of people playing Corki and carrying still.

Then you misunderstand the Triforce and IBG strategies.
#1. IBG rush has been mostly debunked on Ezreal because you do rubbish damage. Right now its probably only used as your "defensive item" in place of GA/Warmogs/Randuins after you get a BT(IE)/LW/SS(PD) core.
#2. When it was used it was for the large AOE poke slow that helped you kite, but more importantly it let your team set up engages OR disengage. Basically with IBG Ez you can control when a fight happens. IBG Corki can't do that, because he is in snare/gapcloser range by the time he can proc.
#3. The old reason for going TF first was that it presented Similar 1 and 2 item damage to traditional BT(IE)+PD with vastly superior utility, survivability, and buildup so you could ostensibly win midgame teamfights (and buy fewer Dorans Blades).

yes u indeed need to be a genius to predict that warmog will replace over-nerfed GA, rekkles built warmog over GA in s2 its simple logic and cost effectiveness of the item u dont need to be rocket scientist to figure this stuff out

Does anyone know where Crumbz has been? I've seen Dig scrimming with Lambo very frequently and he hasn't played a game on his account in a while. Is he okay?

Pretty sure noone thinks corki is unusable.There simply are more useful champs as a whole.Good players make not so good champs look amazing all the time  .

Ezreal and Corki are fundamentally different in that Ezreal does poor damage without getting a damage item, and has an AS steroid and decent ratios. Corki has high baseline damage but poor scaling. IBG is more compelling in this regard because CDR + Sheen proc are more compelling compared to raw damage when the champ's kit is so much more skewed toward high base damages than toward AD ratios and steroids compared to other ADs.
You can't run him as a 1st position carry this way, but even as a 2nd position champ, he still retains fundamental usefulness in supporting a higher position carry because of how strong of a teamfighter he is midgame off his ability base damage and how strong a skill Gatling Gun is.
