The solution is to play him mid !

After some thought and common sense, I'm thinking: Why the heck would you even build Bloodthirster on Zed? Why debate between Hydra and BotRK? Just get both. Double active nuke ftw. Also, like this you can even stop at Tiamat, finishing Hydra way later. Also just played a 70min game with Zed, he's stronger lategame than my impression was. Still makes things explode.

Yup, it's too bad that I cannot properly play with this computer but still he's got a ton of outplay-value and his teemfighting seems to have a ton of possibilities for finesse(mainly utilizing his shadows and the shadow cooldown reset properly).

And then they release a whole bunch of shit that smashes the boundaries of power/utility/mobility. Small wonder that about a third of the champ pool is arguably unviable. I'm just going to go through a list and write down all the champs I feel are underpowered/weak/rework needed right now just because of power creep, and the fact that Riot now designs for a meta, rather than designing champs. Every jungler needs to initiate from infinity range, every top laner needs to be ridiculously strong in lane, and can gap close, every support needs to have massive utility etc. + Show Spoiler + anivia(mana costs in an age where most champs can't even use a third the mana she does if they tried) corki (mana) mundo fiora galio GP Garen heimer karma LB malz morde morg nunu olaf panth poppy quinn(I feel like this is a meta issue rather than power, she does alright mid/top) shaco shyv sion sivir(mana cost or range) skarner teemo - absolutely crushes people without gap closers, loses quite hard to people who can force trades with him. tryn yorick zilean

Bloodthirster is huge on him because of the AD and the bonus AD from W. Without items Zed doesn't do much damage, and bloodthirster is the AD item he loves. Though hydra does sound pretty good, I might use it as a replacement for my end game 2nd bloodthirster.

The decreased Pro Champion pool is my #1 complaint about 2v1 meta. Somehow Kassadin is still picked. But its killed some of my fave champs to watch like: Jax, Irelia, and Wukong. Actually, its killed more than just chars that suck 2v1, it also killed my boy Olaf because he was too good 2v1. no offence but i kinda got tired of jax, irelia every game in s2 happy we dont see them that often anymore

Though hydra does sound pretty good, I might use it as a replacement for my end game 2nd bloodthirster. Hydra felt a lot better than BT. Also I'm not sure if you even need survivability, I was able to go BotRK + Hydra with just a Brutalizer. If you get focused you die anyway IMO, and with these items you can duel even tanks and stuff that doesn't make any sense. The combo also drops everything, for example we had a fed Garen with a warmogs and a black cleaver and a BotRK + Tiamat combo oneshot him with ignite. Note that while BT is 100AD at best, the moment you get it it's actually weaker than Hydra until you stack it to full, whereas with Hydra you instantly gain gigantic amounts of burst potential and can go for kills straight away. Only 100g more Note I'm at a terribad level because I've went like 3-25 and I again cannot really play properly so my credibility is even lower than usual atm. By the way, how does Assault and Battery function with Zed ult? Does it still go through?

Rankings are determined by the following methods: Win Percentage Total Wins (Or fewest losses when teams have no wins) Alphabetical order alphabetical order? really? why not vs score? why not some sort of, you know, rational basis for seeding?

W lets him stay somewhat safe vs CC. gp can't handle a 1v1 lane wonder what that means Nothing? 1v2 and 1v1 have totally different expectations. A "good" 1v1 laner is expected to be able to win lane and suppress the opponent if possible. On the other hand a "good" 1v2 laner is just expected to coast and sneak as much XP/CS as possible. not necessarily good 1v2 can also suppress being overrun by waves and being tower dived early, or holding it off with jungler support. good 1v2 also needs to be factor if there's a planned attack on the jungle buff with the 1v2 side. if the tower falls early 1v2 and then lane switch turns it into 1v1 with no tower backing, it's definitely a factor. the other problem with theorizing about who is good 1v2 is that unless you have a group to practice with it and actually deal with it, all we can do idly speculate. it's a rarity to see 1v2 anywhere that isn't arranged 5s, and even in arranged 5s it can be rare.

At least Olaf didn't do % max health damage every 2 seconds and had to invest in that movespeed boost.
