I'm not sure if this guy really knows how imbalanced imbalance can be.
Exactly, he showed me this.
It's so wrong my head hurts. He doesn't even know what meta is, like there is no meta in SC lol.
There is a meta in SC. And you damn better not use the word in a wrong way, or Chill's gonna frown at you and have an intense inner struggle not to go all Hulk over the forums.

Oh god, it'd be like needing to buy a different rune set for every single champion you own

I've played SC BW when I was 14 years old (I'm now 26) and I still remember watching Elky with joy, making us french proud. I know what meta is :/
Sorry, it was not a threat toward you, I'm just amused by the memory of Chill ranting in several BW threads because people would not understand what the metagame is and use the word for anything and everything. Y'know, for all of Neo's "darkness" airs and graces he's closer to the caring grandpa admonishing the young ones compared to then. And I don't care how ridiculous that sounds, I didn't sleep last night so I have an excuse.

Pokemon moba?
The theoretical Pokemon MOBA that we would all play if it existed.

Actually I understand your post now because I forgot the "no" in the sentence "like the is no meta in SC".

I remember my brother showing me an extra credits that was also completely bullshit. I think stuff like that happens when someone believes they know the subject matter well enough to formulate conclusions when they really can't make those kind of leaps. So you get a bunch of part truths that add together to form a lie.
How do people even enjoy those new pokemon games? That battle looked nothing like the mostly-offense-oriented G1 games I played. Even with a stupid team like Chansey, Alakazam, Starmie + you still had sweepers, and even your stallers actually had killing power.

Pokemon has been steadily getting more offensive ever since the abomination that was skarmbliss. Even special sweepers have a good chance of killing blissey now.

Because they're still fun for all the same reasons.

you mean the game shadowpostin put up? he posted it specifically as an example of why people don't play 1 vs 1 because it's too boring and stally

Gen IV you could suddenly sweep with a lot of stuff because walls and sponges became so much weaker. Splitting attacks Phys/Special based on move rather than type was such a big deal. Also, things like Nasty Plot scary.
Gen V also seems really offensive based. After all, Wobbufett is no longer Ubers and Cresselia is BL.
I found it interesting. But that was the commentary of the guy that helped. I still dozed and missed a few minutes of the end. But that's sleep deprivation, not the video itself. Still, I don't think I'd watch a lot of fights like that or buckle-up for half a hour of fight every time.
If two people decide to make teams that are purposely stally, the game is going to be stally. It shouldn't be taken as representative of the average battle.
