I'm thinking that I should try to take more farm that he misses and then use that to buy more items, because nowadays supports with more items can make quite a significant difference due to how good support items are. You're thinking inverted. If you flip it upside down like a table, it's nunu. If you see the word "nunu" as if it is written on a 2d plane in a 3d enviroment, there are 3 axis around which you can turn it (actually there are infinite amounts, but there is really no need to go into this that deep and they can all be expressed as a combination of 3 orthogonal axis anyways). If you define them as the axis going from n to u as x, the axis that is the straight lines in the n's and u's as y, and the orthogonal to both of those which basically spears the paper that nunu is written on as z, and then turn by 180° around one of those axis, turning around x or y turns nunu to unun. Turning around z turns nunu to nunu. I would say that turning around x or y is turning the word upside down, since it inverts on which side of the 2d plane you look, and i think defining one of the sides of the 2d plane you look at as "up" is the most intuitive. However, if you look at it from a different angle and define the positive y axis as "up", then turning it upside down does indeed turn it to "nunu". Basically, the problem here is that none of you bothered to define "up", and thus you are not talking about the same thing.

Also wouldn't any team worth it's weight be using lolreplay previously? If they felt the need to do such.

I don't expect it to be used much tbh.

Replays has been the most wanted feature for some time, and they don't want too much server strain while they do bug testing. I think they will allow for some type of auto downloading after a while.

Basically, there are two directions you can call "up" in this situation, but since one of them is on the same plane and is thus not really elevated, is would say that defining the positive z axis as "up" makes more sense. ![]() Thus, if you turn the "up" side "down", you turn around either the x or the y axis, which both turns nunu into unun.

But you CAN save your replay by watching it only briefly (say 1 second). TBH I would just make it so you can only download a replay every X minutes.

Cutlass first on AD's is a kind of a big tradeoff, its a fine item and all but you are trading a huge amount of stats for a smoother ramp up and that slow. Cutlass is nicely efficient and you get the active basically free, but a BT is far far better, giving you about 1500 gold worth of bonus Ad and lifesteal when fully charged. Its delaying your big t3 items a ton because you wont even build the culass into anything until really late. T3 items give huge amounts of free stats.

I spectated a few high level games on the NA servers last night and people are starting to rush it along with multiple Doran's Blades. It will take a while for mid tier to pick up. I think you should sit on Cutlass and not upgrade until after you've gotten a better damage item though, as the BotRK onhit isn't as effective until people start stacking HP. The meta is now this, which leads to a more reliable leveling curve for ADC. Doran/Longsword opening Vamp/Boots/More Doran/Pickaxe Cutlass/More Doran Zeal BFSword Boots 2 The idea being to purchase smaller items and incrementally improve rather than wait for a spike by rushing a BFSword item. If you fail to abuse your spike after the BFSword, you're behind. That being said: If you get super far ahead by lvl 6-8, BFSword is the best option to force a win in your lane. How do you decide between dorans and longsword2pot opening? I feel cutlass is good but definitely wouldn't grab botrk until people got mogs and whatnot. I edited the original post, I had written it wrong and am in agreement with you about sitting on Cutlass for a while, not BotRK. I make the distinction between Doran's and Longsword based on whether I expect harass. Vs Cait, you probably want those extra pots. Vs MF, her range means you're never going to get hit unless you eat a Q, so Dorans. You're right, but most people who feel that ADC are binary and have this pass/fail domination issue are people who misjudge the power curve. It's easier to incrementally upgrade rather than hedge money for larger gains.

I imagine Riot will add this feature as it's already being asked for. If they don't I'm sure that someone will create an auto-downloader. As is you don't have to watch the replay right after from what I understand. You can go to the 'Show folder' option and manually save it.

But the problem of course is that against certain lanes (bursty ones such as Leona or Taric), you might be brought down so low in HP that it would be impossible to continue to hit minions and get zoned.
