In season 2 she sucked because as ad carry you were supposed to 3 shot everyone and she couldn't do that. She was really strong in s2 as well... just underplayed. She could crush lane EXTREMELY hard, it was a shame she didn't see same level of play in S2 (but if you did notice, more people started playing her at end of S2).

Is it okay to say that "Given the current meta which places a focus on pushing and midgame, Caitlyn's kit makes her a very strong pick"? I'd say her early/mid game is quite strong. Unless her side is just much worse, she will definitely get some sort of CS lead over her opponent. Having traps and net, combined with her range, makes her a really safe pick. She also does pretty good against some of the more popular AD's, like Graves and Ezreal. She probably has less damage than every other AD before her first big item. She is not a safe pick because the game might end before she does damage.

It's both factually true (they expected him to be a sustained damage dealer like singed or tanky cho and he just kind of accidentally slipped into being bursty as they kept fiddling with him) and easily understood, so...?

Piltover less mana and a way better animation/windup Ult also a small buff. Calling her super strong in s2 and underplayed isn't completely right imo, especially in the era of the holy trinity. The windup change on MF's bullettime also significantly improved my experience playing with her. That and of course and AOE armor shred haha.

I guess you could say that'd be....... toxic. AWWWW YEAAAAHHHH In all seriousness; Darius was fine where he was, just because people were dumb enough to trade with him lane are the vocal majority... He originally thought Graves was complete AD trash because everytime he played Cait against Graves, he would COMPLETELY crush the graves; wouldn't be uncommon to see him have like 100 cs advantage after laning phase in S2. Now obviously his conclusion that Graves was a bad AD was wrong; but the idea was that Cait had a good niche against a lot of champions (not just graves). Holy trinity was just really strong during s2; but Cait definitely had a spot in any lineup imo.

You think I'm just making that up? Fuck off, go look it up yourself. 2) Is that supposed to be impossible or something? It works fine for cho 3) Maybe that's one of the things they changed that made him more bursty.

I think the intention was that it would have to be an extended fight for the passive stacks to up his ult's damage to that high a level. Issue is they lowballed that # for what they wanted.

The answer is that in order to get the most out of Darius's true damage, you have to stack up bleed stacks on your target first. You need to do some 'sustained' damage first before you can get your burst-damage reward. Yes, this doesn't actually change the fact that he's bursty. + Show Spoiler + Of course, if he gets multiple resets on his ult, doesn't that count as 'sustained' damage? heheheh... One Rioter put out the idea that Darius could be reworked so his bleed stacks up to 10 times, and the scalings based on bleed stacks changing so that ~8 of the new stacks = 5 of the old ones.

Both are wrong. 14 pool or later, you can pylon forge nexus cannon gate (one more building block for ~5-10 secs depending on map if he sends lings asap). My memory is kinda fuzzy on what the responses are to things earlier than 14 that isn't a 6/7 pool though.
