Big downside is to use it offensively you have to pretty much dive into the middle of the enemy team, Amumu style, but I guess if you build tanky enough you'd be fine. | ||

However, given how ridiculous Thresh's lantern toss looks I'm fine with him having weaknesses in the rest of his kit. Also just because it is worse than another ability doesn't mean it's going to be bad (veigar's E is pretty ridiculous in all honesty) | ||
