Was he the guy who at IPL laughed for every single ward clear? I just don't get it. He's got a good caster voice but that's about it.

I don't even mind Wombat, his rambling is funny sometimes, it just goes overboard and I don't understand the love for him. His voice is pretty good though.
Edit: Nvm, he was hating on Sewn Chaos Oriana, worst caster WRLD.

Am I the the only one who thinks support is the greatest thing in the entire world after that patch?
So much fun, so much gold. Three games in a row on Lulu I've had more gold than the enemy AD. SIghtstone saves you stupid amounts on wards, and you can itemize whatever the hell you want nowadays and you don't get called a troll. People think it bawss as hell if you rush a chalice where as before even if you won lane stupidly hard you trolling.
I feel like just maining support. Its like a playground... you get huge impact on game, can do whatever you want, and even if you lose everyone just blame someone else as long as you didn't blatantly feed.

Well technically you can always get blamed/flamed no matter what you do but I definitely feel a lot richer very often.Even last game which we got like 1 turret of global gold I managed to get zeke/locket/shurelya in like 35 min(we lost obv but w/e :D).

Yeah being support is no longer a bitch role. So much fun actually having money now and never buying gp/10s again. I remember the days when it was hot shit when you got 3 gp/10's before 10 minutes. Getting a fast wardens mail isn't just a gimicky strat for pro level taric players its legit as hell for jarvan too.
You end up the game now with like 3-4 actives to manage and you feel like your still contributing as much as you did at the start.

I like Wombat simply because his voice is pleasant to listen to. Which is honestly the single most important thing for a play-by-play caster. He was/is worried that his career will be cut short due to how Riot's S3 will affect smaller tournaments but honestly if you put him with a knowledgeable caster such as Jatt or Kobe24 I think he'd be perfect.
After Joe Miller/Deman he's easily the best play-by-play caster for English League atm.

I agree with that, and have to add that he has another thing that is important for play-by-play which is a way with words. So many play-by-play guys are just not great at articulating themselves imo. He also knows what he doesn't know and doesn't say stupid things about the game. tsmtournaments has always been clear that they wanted a more casual cast. Given a more professional setting I doubt he'd go off on random tangents.

How do I max CDR noooooooow aaaaaaaaaaaaaah. D: So much good stuff, but that means less money for other good stuff, even including ionian boots (well I mainly play Leona and Sona and I love Janna, on Sona it's fine but Janna doesn't even need MS so you're paying a lot for those 15%, and on Leona I tend to prefer tabi or mercs as you get into the thick of things). Locket gives me 10%, my mastery choices give me 6% on non-Leona, but since Shurelya is now only a "buy if you need the active" stuff (which makes me a bit sad, when shurelya was a first-buy or a must-have by midgame it made initiations and mobility in general more dynamic and "fast-paced" I feel) and bulwark is so good but also so expensive, I don't get to buy much more cdr. Even if I don't get one of those two, it's because I took crucible or shard before that.

Bulwark should be left to jungler/top, not bought on supports. Locket would be if its cost-effectiveness/utility didn't make it so good in multiples right now.
IMO Crucible should be primarily an AP mid item. It can be bought on supports if you're fed, but I think it's better to buy support items that give you more combat-relevant stats over Crucible on most supports.
The fact that there are more supportive items in the game means that more and more the non-support roles should be looking for opportunities to buy ones that are somewhat suitable for them. They are less effective for your personal strength than selfish items, but if every role is buying some of them, then the team's overall combat effectiveness will be higher, because everyone is sacrificing a little to help everyone else's power a little.

Janna needs some sort of buff. I know there was a point where she was too strong, but it is nearly impossible to use howling gale effectively now. I mean, I had a game where I was pretty fed, and my Ezreal was super fed, but Gale is too easy to dodge (even when its not charged) to need to charge up to have a decent knockup time.
I only QQ cus janna is fun.

I been really liking Lulu. Can just flat out build damages. Been building like Sorc shoes, Haunting guise, Aegis. You get it by like 25 minute mark you feel so boss.
I also think that like Pantheon support could be viable too. Feel so rich I feel, and people dont get mad at you for just farming things. Its pretty cool. Always wind up with like 80 farm magically by the 25 minute mark. I dunno if that trend will continue, but it feels really cool.
I curious to see how supports like Madlife fairing. I dunno, i always felt like I won lanes hard when I played support, but right now everything just feels so fun. Its like a playground.

I dunno, crucible is good enough (and with a long enough cd) that one could consider buying it in multiples too. Of course I wouldn't get it on, say, Leona, but Sona benefiting well from chalice kinda lends itself to her being a crucible candidate. Locket I like on Leona too, simply because the emblem is a good item on her during the laning phase and the stats+shield from locket combined with her W steroid help making aggressive plays through better tankiness.
More realistically, I'm not sure how I would try and cap myself now... shurelya I already didn't buy much unless the comps called for it because I tended to buy aegis first and hold onto shurelya's parts (didn't buy HoG anymore after the nerf, and 550 isn't too much when you know you'll soon need shuremya). A support is easily cramped for slots now, with flask+sightstone+boots+pink wards, so you can't really have a kindlegem sitting in your inventory like previously.
Zeke's is a good CDR candidate but gives less-than-desirable stats on a support anyway, and less desirable for your AD too (since the aura went from AS to AD, which I dislike a lot as it makes Nunu support an even bigger factor now), so I don't really see myself rushing it (esp. since the change to AD makes it better on champs like Olaf). I'm not a FH rusher like a lot of Leona/Blitz I've seen (silly you, randuin's was way better on Leona in s2).
So I guess 10 from locket/shurelya, 15 from boots and sometimes 6 from masteries... up to 31% cdr, not that bad, but with less desirable items than before.

Give elisa's miracle 5% cdr for no good reason, no slot CDR ftw.
It's a pain to CDR cap now.

I dont think you necessarily need CDR. You can buy damage and not get yelled at for trolling. AD carries don't really know how to deal with you chunking them for half their HP in a round of spells. You ever seen an AD get Magic resist in lane? Imagine a support with Sorc shoes and a haunting guise. Just from base damage you hit them for 500~ true damage. Even if they ahead of you in items or CS, their Support rocking S2 support items you just going to win trades, and win lanes anyway.

Since we are on the topic of support items, when do you guys typically pick up a sightstone and when do you upgrade it? It is so expensive in upfront cost, that I find it can really delay some of my key support items (crucible, locket). Honestly I don't really like the item, unupgraded, two wards at a time is rarely enough, and I still have to buy pinks (even more so with the oracles nerf). And when I do get the money to upgrade it, it seems I am at the point in the game where often 3 wards at a time is not enough.

I've personally been putting it off a fair bit. I dunno how right it is, but I been starting like this:
Flask+Wards->Boots+RubyCrystal/AmpTomb+Ward->Haunting Guise+Ward->Sorc Shoes+Ward->Chalice->Sightstone
I just kind of dicking around, changing things up every game. I dunno if you actually need both Sorc shoes and Haunting, I just know that MPen Lulu so awesome.

Managed to get a W on Ali while we were pushing lane, then I shielded Cait and we started wailing on him, he dropped 75-0 (headshot+shield stronk). I don't need no MPen for that stuff.
I tend to start flask+2 wards+pink ward, and sometimes a hp pot (I could avoid it I think). If I get an early assist/kill, it's an immediate sighstone. Otherwise if we're doing well and I can afford to back early-ish, I'll get once I have a little over 700 gold, that should last me for laning phase, then when I start feeling I'm cramped I'll upgrade to a ruby sighstone if I don't have a bigger item to finish before (in that case I'll buy 1-2 wards to cover for the duration). I buy it later on Leona because I really want my emblem, armor+hp5 to good on her early on to pass up.

I feel like you should build sightstone way earlier to really get your moneys worth, the earlier the more cost effective it becomes . If you get it that late if your build you've already spent so much money on wards that you could have saved. I think saving that money is worth giving up a little early level damage.
