Any current teams you think have the potential to compete on an international level, or just future prospects?

Which was hooey anyway, she good escapes and stupid ramnge. Can buy damage, can't buy range. Her late game always good.

You could say the same about Corki and Ezreal; you can buy damage, you can't buy jumping over thick walls. Yes, it took SOME time for her to become popular since 1.0.0.146, but insulting people for not instantly jumping the Caitlyn bandwagon (people is sheep) is really overexaggerating what is happening.

At high levels, it's often a product of much more subtle changes in overall drafting strategy between the top teams. I don't think you could easily attribute it to one single change, rather than an amalgamation of multiple factors, some of which are only tangentially related.

Meh, I actually disagree, since its been my opinion for a LONG time that even at high levels people are sheep. You look at nearly every major shift in the meta or the way a champion has been thought of (at least back when I still followed the scene religiously) it was because either a new team came in and shook things up (M5) or a player got pretty famous for playing a certain hero and others copied it (again, pretty much everyone on M5). Then top tier teams build that new knowledge into their expectations, things stagnate again until someone else thinks something up new.

Cait should have seen a shit ton of play ever since graves was released, but I was surprised no one did so.... Release graves was fucking real terror, and the only AD that could really deal with it easily was Cait; but pretty much no one played her as a counter for some reason....

At the point where teams were sheeping M5, I wouldn't consider a lot of those top NA teams the highest level anymore.

And here I was saying that resistances are hard to come by... Also built a BC/BT/phage on top of it so my ult was doing 2.3k (after the stacked BT, a bit less than 2000 before I bought any part). In AoE. Oh and anyone caught in its full duration had -25% armor. Which means that the one hit by my Q (30% Armor reduc for 3 seconds) was sitting at around half his armor for a very brief period (around 28% armor for an ally with ArPen mastery + LW). Then you have the ArPen mastery and the 34 ArPen from runes, masteries and BC. (Just for the record, that game we also had Orianna mid, who got a lot of kills and an easier time AoE-farming than me, so kinda early deathcap then void staff. At this point we didn't even bothered to protect Tristana, we just killed everyone but LB (tp-ing away) and Nidalee (diving so not in range).) Wukong doesn't have the best laning phase out there, and in a lot of early and midgame fights I was unable to come help clean-up because the lack of lifesteal hurt when taking most of the peeling in my face, but damn. The new items and especially the HP itemization to go hand-in-hand with his passive make him so stupidly strong in teamfights if he manages to farm, even more than before.
