It's just a separate cast animation. Saying Hydra resets your autoattack animation is like saying any spell resets your autoattack timer, when it's just that the autoattack timer and ability animations are unlinked so you can cancel autoattacks into abilities and vice versa. Any ability that resets your autoattack timer is going to be an autoattack modifier--the only reason they reset the autoattack timer is to mimic this effect despite being linked to the normal autoattack cd. | ||

I don't even think Hydra activate even effects your auto attack at all like Amumu E, where you have to time your spell usage to not interfere with your AA, isn't it more like Hecarim Q? Could be wrong only bought Hydra twice all season, don't play champs that could use it that often. | ||

MP destroys (as in "ace with ease and style") 1-TP when Malph's ult catches several of them, combined with Kha'Zix's burst and Sona's ult to keep the survivors cc'd. Who was sceptic about my "assassinate the assassins" proposal?  Note that it doesn't rely on assassins (Kha being Kha, still) as much as AoE cc and good base damage from non-assassin champs that can provide other types of utility (Malph built Sunfire+tabi+chalice+mail/belt for randuin's. Champions like Zyra, Amumu, Cho'Gath, etc. ie good base damage allowing for a midgame power spike can be used too for such a composition, that would allow your power spike to fight the assassin's, while building tanky/utility on those champs for a possible transition to the late game should the tactic fail. Obviously, we have to keep in mind that Kha'Zix is currently stupidly broken and that there are other ways to have "tanky assassins" (BT-warmogs works, probably much better than it should, on Kha'Zix and Zed, the latter could have built that and made the burst moot). | ||
