i think karma needs a specific comp around her. i don't think she does enough damage in the mid/late-game, and not many solo queue teams are built around support-style mids like her and zilean and janna.
she's totally a fun character though. wish she got more play. i don't know why they're remaking her, i think minor buffs all around would be awesome. my friends have this botlane cheese with trist-karma where karma pretends to play stupid and gets poked and then rocket jump/shield-burst at level 2, lol.
been trying out some botrk builds... it's really useful, i feel like it's a good item to rush if you're jungling on a carry jungler like Vi or Riven. especially Vi, the active lets you stick to apply your W, and i prefer it over phage now.

The Bird is designed to siege. If you are playing Anivia as strictly burst, then you are under-utilizing her. Anivia uses her ult and wall to control teamfights. Properly using her wall and ult leads to multiple enemies stepping in her ult all taking the Liandry's Proc before either team jumps on the other.
Yes she bursts with Q and E, but her R gives very nice sustained damage on several members of the enemy team allowing for multiple procs of Liandry's.
