From a jungler's perspective, if I see where you ward, that ward is pretty much useless. I will never come through there to gank unless there's a fight where both sides have committed. If there are multiple wards that make it so that it's impossible for me to gank unless seen, for example if warding purple wraith and top tri brush as blue side, then I will immediately back and get as many pinks as I need to give you enough vision so that you think you're safe, or no vision at all. This is something a surprising % of junglers at high elo do not pay enough attention to, and pretty much no solos have awareness of. But in 5s even bad teams will communicate effectively so that you can rarely play mind games vs. decent teams. What I mean by mind games is basically using the information that they don't know you know where their wards are in order to gank deceptively. This should be pretty much half the focus in laning game for any jungler. The other half is using the knowledge of where the enemy jungler is to create favorable situations for your team, as in good countergank opportunities, 2v1s, 3v2s, 2v2s you can win, etc. Knowing where the enemy jungler is entirely dependent on experience. To add to that, there are basically three mistakes a jungler can make when ganking: 1, That you don't have perfect information of wards, which occurs at all elos, and is dependent on map awareness and communication. 2. That you misjudge an unfavorable fight to be favorable. For example ganking an enemy top 2 lvls higher than your top and you, and getting killed or double killed. This occurs less the higher the elo. There are also other unforeseeable factors such as mechanical errors during the fight. 3. That you get counterganked. I'd like to say this actually occurs more at high elo because junglers are smarter, but a good jungler will never get counterganked effectively. This is also the most complicated mistake, and requires both junglers to have a basic knowledge of routes and timers. | ||

Say you're blue team top lane, and you ward tri-bush. The moment the enemy jungler appears there, your bot lane knows he isn't anywhere bot and they can go aggressive without fear. I hate being forced to play passive because I never know where the jungler is because no one else is warding. | ||
