I think in our modern age technology has evolved to become more addictive. The things that don't give us pleasure aren't used as much. Work was never meant to be fun, but doing it makes us happier in the long run.

im starting to see this pattern between international events where people are mad at their favorite team, then they see the top na teams make some changes, rip up the second teir teams for a while like always, and they get all hopeful and say things like "x could really be changing their team dynamic with the addition of player y". Then there's a big international event and i don't need to describe what a pathetic massacre that is. And the cycle repeats.

15% AP as magic damage on autos isn't nearly enough to make APs an alternative to ADs in terms of scaling. There's no Magic Crit, few other AP + Attack Speed options, and the conversion rate is abysmal.

Honestly, it's probably to further the efficiency of buying AP on hybrid/on-hot based champions, because many of those champs favor AD-based itemization in the long run over AP.

One problem I see with Malady is that most AP champions have really, *really* low attack speed growth (except Orianna, TF, and Teemo). Then there is the issue of whether or not you will have the opportunity to even autoattack.
