Sona's base armor got buffed but her level 1-3 is going to be dangerous as hell. She takes one less autoattack to kill early on in the game and that's huge. She's going from 450 health at level 1 to 410, she'll have the lowest base health of any character in the game. She's fragile to begin with and she's just getting squishier. Dislike.

Judging by the cost is a brutalizer upgrade. Gives health+spellvamp, two stats that're actually really good on AD casters, alternative to a BT I guess. It might need a bit more base AD to really shine though.
Soulsight Lantern: Instead of a ward, you get stealth detection on a 1 minute cooldown. It might make toplaners want to build wriggles again?
Wooglet's Witchcap: Interesting, trade ~80+5% AP for 10% MS. Pretty decent tradeoff.
It's worth pointing out that Cassi doesn't proc the full effect of Rylais with Twin Fang (or any of her spells) and this will likely will use the same mechanic to determine whether or not to give full or half damage. That said, dots reapplying it, even if it's the halved effect, could be incredibly strong for poking. Expecting it to turn out really great for Ahri and Ryze, though.

Yes I noticed this as well. The spiderlings are so annoying; she reminds me of Yorick. Either way, she will be infuriating to play against I feel.
Basically, she deals % health damage with her Q, and she does a mix of physical and magical damage..... so yeah.

Sona's looking to challenge Irelia in a "get nerfed" contest... She's gotten HOW many nerfs, and the only thing that could be construed as a buff was mostly of a QOL tweak...

i guess the large open areas and thick walls on tt are supposed to tone back how strong blinks were, but together with removing wards (!!) and adding a koth mechanic it kinda looks like they turned the map into a brainless free for all with no sense of positional play, in other words, dominion with three people. Really hope i'm wrong.

in early to mid game, should I try to get mid, top, and ADC fed as much as possible and try to not get the kill?

I just realised when last did they release a male mage? A quick search seems like Ziggs at the beginning of the year

I switched to E before W before the changes, but maybe W is better now. Dunno, didn't try it yet.
Also, I recommend chalice (-> Athenes whenever you feel like completing). DFG is pretty bad now.

I was doing W before the changes. The only reason I didn't go Q is because the mana costs were incredibly prohibitive, but now they aren't as bad, and the damage is quite decent, especially for how low the CD is. I've gotten pretty good at landing stuns with E.

I prefer maxing W, since it has a good range and it's less awkward when it doesn't kill stuff, w/ regards to clearing "safely" (push stuff back, go up to last hit it, get jumped :< ). I max E second, mainly for the cooldown.

I like to gank top early if I can (I actually prefer starting blue side for this, not because purple top is hell against ganks, but because they expect me to start at my red rather than theirs and if I can get away with it unnoticed they won't expect the gank, most often), and then take the kill — first blood money convert my cloth into tabis once I'll have backed, as well as pay for 2-3 pots that should last me until I get to 6 (I find jungling awkward before 6 considering how low you can get, esp. on ~3rd clear).
Mundo is a pretty good oracle carrier, same with aegis, and an early belt Mundo is a monster to duel against, so he can use the early money well. I generally try to let the AD carry get the kill when I gank bot tho, as it's generally harder to get an item advantage there than top, or even mid.
