The change is live on PBE.
AS debuff on W is completely removed.
Ye, it's PBE, and might change, blabla, but I am convinced they'll keep this change. Ez 2 strng otherwise

Generally when Phreak says something is coming, it is. However, always subject to change, etc. The main thing is that they're aware of W's effect being very strong, so even if they take that back and don't straight remove it, it'll still be getting a nerf of some kind.

I feel that this change will go through. Not only did Phreak talk about it specifically, it is also on PBE right now.

I can't wait to try out the new TT. I think people are overreacting when it comes to the capture points. Once captured, they are locked for 90 seconds, so you'll just have to keep a timer on it like a buff spawn and try and contest it when possible. The goal is still the kill the enemy nexus. The new items are super interesting, wouldn't be surprised if some version of them (probably nerfed in some way) made it over to SR during the item overhaul.
Agreed the DFG nerf seems too harsh, sad about Sona being even squishier, interesting to see if the loss of the AS debuff makes Ez unplayable (TL seems split, would be interested to see what some pros had to say). Also I find it funny over on Reddit people are complaining about the Eve nerf when pretty much everyone at a high level of play agrees she is straight broken.

Human Q: Deals magic damage equal to 50/95/140/185/230 plus 8% (+0.02*AP%) of the target's current health, with 650 range, 7s cd and 60 mana at all levels. Keep it at level 1, shred people "freely" with a point'n'click nuke on a low cd and low mana cost.
Her "gap closer" Rappel has 875 range... even Talon can't get that far (Cutthroat has 700 range, most gap closers have 600).
Also, Mordekaiser's new lore is... so bland. His former had way more character into it, plus it raised questions about him. Now he's just "an undead using pain as source of his spells and able to raise the people he kills as slaves". Meh.
And... DFG's cdr is gone. Fuck this. Which itemization do AP casters have now? Morello, Ionian boots, grail, elixir? It's going to be a pain to reach 40% cdr without blue buff, unless you want to buy items with other stats you don't want. At least bruisers/tanks/supports have some choice in this. I'd like to see more varied cdr sources for AP casters, so that you can actually see different items for different casters that may like cdr, but not necessarily the same other stats.
About the damage, you need 1000 AP to break even with the current DFG. Which also needs 1000 AP to break even with the previous iteration. So yeah.

I'm more concerned about the 3rd point for Force of Will. When smartcasting, the game seems to very easily interpret a quick tap on the key as a double tap, and makes you grab something, then immediatly drop it where it was.
Your bolded point on the ult won't change anything, from the tests I ran using cdr, the first though will make it much better against spell shields. I wonder if it means anything for Morgana's black shield?

another thing which was on PBE and talked about a bit by reds was shens ult being changed to tf style ult (a few patches after tf's)
similar with janna changes a few patches ago they were much bigger on PBE then scaled back.
they usually go a bit heavy handed on PBE.. im not saying that they are not gonna remove attack speed, but that maybe they are going to do something else with it to replace or w/e

I don't want to say it because I like Sona but these nerfs look a lot like the Rammus nerfs that took him off the map to me.
(nerfing the already most glaring weakness making it a liability)

The ult change means that (I haven't actually tried it, but I am guessing from the wording) you can quickly press Q + R to get one more orb for your ultimate.

Wherever you want. The PBE launcher is a self contained executable. But you can register an account except on the 1-3 of each month :S

Elise's spiderlings scale with AP but do physical damage, huehuehue. You can also command them like tibbers with alt.
The lore changes are dumb, not sure why Riot decided that retconning lore was a popular thing to do (huehue WoW). I suppose that with the JoJ gone they have to give their lore employees *something* or else they'd break their thumbs with too much twiddling.

I've got an account, I just want to be able to launch without having to go into WinRAR and extract every time, and I can't freaking find it.
