Jungle Remake still might be a decent idea for S3. Probably with an emphasis on making it more mirrored than anything. The Blue-Purple thing is gettng a lot of crow.

I didn't notice that Malzahar's E was probably the strongest single target non-ultimate nuke in the game, with 650 range. I know he's a lot about pushing lane, but when you do 320+0.8 AP to the enemy champ with at least equal range to any non-skillshot they have, why not just slap it to them everytime it's off cd? ôo

I always see them use it on the creep wave and push, hoping that it'll hop to the enemy champion at one point.

it could be a good idea, i will agree with that, just to make the game more interesting. but i think it is fine for the most part as it is.

i said it a few weeks ago. malz is underrated atm. almost impossible to lose lane, good ganks both in mid lane and roaming. the whole qss issue just means you have to play smarter, it doesnt mean malz is suddenly useless. plus he is a blast to play. his base damage and ratios are fairly nuts too.

personally, as someone who mains jungle, diana and rengar were the perfect additions to the jungler list. they are DIFFERENT then the other 'standard' tanky junglers. this is good for the game. you could say certain aspects of their kits need adjusting or whatever, but the playstyle they introduce is interesting and different.

think back a few months ago when sejuani and naut came out close to each other. it isnt feasible to keep making junglers (tanky gank bots) like that indefinitely. the players would get bored (like i was) and the game would be boring to watch. it was entertaining to watch orb jungle diana over the weekend in the tsm weekly.

also it gets real old seeing people constantly say that champs are better off taking a solo lane then jungling. ive never understood that idea. diana and rengar both have better then average ganks, and clear fast enough to stay even with laners. can they lane? of course. do they have to? NO.

Both Sion's Q and W has 300 dmg + 0.9 ratio, and in terms of dmg, nothing beats fiddle's W. So malz E really isn't that strong. The main problem tho, is that he has nothing to follow up with, because Q and W are very unreliable without ulti. So no, he doesn't have that strong of a poke.

Rengar ganks are pretty much the same as other jungler ganks.

Stealth, however, is an EXTREMELY toxic mechanic. Nothing about Rengar screams innovation or enjoyable to play against. It's just so inane to have champions with no resource and giant, low CD heals.

Diana jungle is hilarious in how bad it is. It only works if you can snowball off people doing incredibly dumb things.

Malz can exert a lot of pressure by aggressively pushing and using E bounces to force the enemy into awkward situations, make them miss CS, or pin them between a bounce and Q.

There's a lot you can do with Malz to set up poke and his 1v1 burst is exceptionally high. You don't see him much because there are fuckloads of incidental CC right now that cause enormous issues with his ult, he has no mobility, and QSS on an assassin or bruiser really screws him over in fights.

They are fine junglers, thats not the problem. No?

The problem is that they are too good in lane. Amumu is a decent ganker, but not a Naut or Maokai. The key to all those characters though, is that they are not outstanding in lane. Viable, but not outstanding.

Diana plays like most other assassin-y jungles. Brutal against anyone who's dumb enough to not ward and overextend, kills any squishy without support, but if she doesn't get kills it's eh. Sure, her clear speeds are pretty great, but options for a burst AP jungle like her are pretty limited if not fed.

Laning vs jungling are not mutually exclusive things. There are champions that can do either and champions that can only do one. You want to put the champ where it has the most impact, but some can have the same impact in either.

What does that even mean though? How does that affect one's balance decisions?
