Malz can still roams if people don't pay attention (well that's related to low Elo I guess) and in soloQ people won't necessarily pick CC once they see the enemy team (I've had people pick jungle Olaf and a CC-less top laner after the enemy team had Malz and WW).
Also that burst... his ratios are so high, he can 1v1 anyone. ôo
Cant take LMS hipsters serious.

It means that some champs are good junglers and bad laners, some are good laners and bad junglers, and some are good both. Choose the best role for the champion.

You balance to bring the overpowered aspects in line. If that fucks one side over, too bad; Riot should've done a better job designing it.

I think that one reason she may be pretty strong is that there aren't all that many great AP junglers, so Diana comes as a welcome addition to the game, and fills a nice gap that some teams want to take advantage of. This is of course added to all the other stuff she brings to a team.

Pardon me sir, but Gentleman Cho'gath would like for you to step outside so he can have a word with you. Not that he just wants you somewhere where he can bite your face off without anyone seeing.

Cho'gath's first clear is a bit slow, but he's SO GOOD AFTER THAT.

The only really "normal" ap junglers are karthus and fiddle, but fiddle fell out of flavor since the jungle change, and karthus is better mid in general due to how hard he scales off farm. >_>

But, recently at least, when have they done a good job of designing champs that can jungle and lane?

also it gets real old seeing people constantly say that champs are better off taking a solo lane then jungling. ive never understood that idea. can they lane? of course. do they have to? NO.

seriously, the argument that "better solo than jungle" is the dumbest argument i've ever heard. it really makes no sense.
if you have a mid already, and your jungle position isn't set, and diana is still on the table, then it's perfectly viable from that perspective. if you're gonna argue about abilities that's one thing, but "better in lane" doesn't mean anything.

i want to make some sort of food analogy but i'm sick of arguing in analogies, lol.

Stealth, however, is an EXTREMELY toxic mechanic. Nothing about Rengar screams innovation or enjoyable to play against. It's just so inane to have champions with no resource and giant, low CD heals.

Stealth is a fun mechanic, but the counters to Rengar's stealth are not very good. It's practically a free escape, is a free gap closer, can dominate fights with no oracles (smaller skirmishes like 3v3/4v4), and he's not even squishy anyway.

what i would suggest as a step?
-leap range reduced
-fade in time for stealth
-timer in bush for leap (like a 1.5-2sec minimum), plus a cooldown. going in a bush for a fraction of a second for the sole sake of leaping out is just conceptually stupid.
-cheap truesight wards that offer no vision but grant vision of cloaked units, similar to sentry wards in dota

There's nothing fun about stealth. It's a complete binary mechanic where if you have an oracle it's useless and if you don't it's extremely broken. The whole point of the remake was because it was so suffocating playing against stealth champions and globals because you had no way of knowing where shit was. You still don't; they accomplished nothing. Eve can still roam with impunity and not be seen until she's so close that you can never escape (she has a giant haste and a giant slow), Rengar's stealth lasts so long that he can walk up a lane and then jump well before you can ever see him coming, plus a slow. You can't pink just to see ganks coming because there are so many ways to go and its prohibitively expensive to cover them all with pinks.

In a team fight any of these champions can just sit on the edge and as anything but a tank you're forced to hide way the fuck back because you have no alternative. In the middle of a fight, if anything stealths you have to run way the fuck back or get gibbed. Even the act of running back is risky because they can just chase you. You're also forced to stop attacking (you can't hit what you can't see).

So, simply by HAVING stealth you're completely suffocating to the enemy team, forcing them to play extremely passively and/or waste a ton of gold in pinks or oracles (starting very early -- which sets your core build behind -- because all stealth champions snowball incredibly hard), and be oppressively disruptive in teamfights with no intelligent thought behind the act.

This compounds on how difficult it is to even hold an oracle if your team is behind or you individually aren't strong (or even if you've done fine, but something else is very strong).

Stealth does not fit in this game.

Akali and Eve are perfectly workable options for AP burst. The problem is that any assassin jungler is pretty meh if you either fail in exerting early game presence or if an enemy or two gets fed. Diana is better than most for all the same reasons that make her more of an AP carry than an assassin. It's her innate tankiness, the AoE nature of her damage, and her 1 point utility which put her above the crowd.

He's not really an AP burst jungler, or at least that's not his best application.

Also, level 4 at 3:45 with no leash, full health, and a spare potion isn't slow at all. :3

Yeah, true. He still hits like a ton of bricks though.

I have a friend who still does a really nice jungle fid. Granted it's still around 1500 elo, but he's on a 30 win streak with his brother as AP mid.

EDIT: teach me your ways. I don't know how you clear so well with Cho. Is there some crazy micro I'm missing?

Yeah, I already do that. Still can't clear in 3:45 though.

I take hp pendant first (I build philo) and then I like mana crystal so I can go glacial or catalyst. Any suggestions for build order?*

Start boots. There's no reason to start Regrowth when you could be ganking like a boss. I don't even bother with any gp10s on Cho'gath because he's so much better rushing things like Wit's End/Aegis/Glacial.

Movespeed Quints, Attack Speed Marks, Armor Seals, whatever Glyphs (I use more Attack Speed). 5/16/9 masteries for maximum movespeed, defense, and auto-attack damage. EQEW to start.

405 movespeed at level one makes you an absolute monster. It's even more hilarious with Janna on your team.

A victory on SR is worth two points, the others are worth one each. Hence the possibility of a tie(I assume you were referring to the normal impossibility of a tie after three games.)
