There is a definate difference in play and they feel different to me. The same shit of people feeding there lane 0-5 and people getting fed and trying to 1v5 happens but the games do feel different to me. On another note i played a game as xerath vs kat rengar and the new guy. Most miserable game i have ever played. | ||

Ahri is probably easier to lane with though since worst case scenario you just last hit from far away and push waves with Q. | ||

If you mean that graphs of percentile Elo rankings in general look lognormal then that's about what I'd expect, at least for LoL. | ||

edit: Consider Morgana too actually. She isn't a terrible roamer because while you don't have a ton of mobility you out push most people. So you can push up the wave, go gank a lane, and then come back in time to farm the minions that are now at your tower. Black shield, your bind, and your ult are ridiculously strong tools in a gank. | ||

Solo queue being what it is, I rarely get my first or even second choice role. I'm not a rounded enough player to consistently win my team the game with every role. Hence I'm stuck in gold until either I improve bot/jungle or I get a massive run of top/mid games. People should consider ELO as a measure of their progress in all the roles they play in ranked. | ||

If you do something stupid and get caught you're going to die to like 95% of the champions who go mid. I didn't realize people were still permabanning Morg. I figured with the addition of Rengar to the "must ban always" list that Morg wasn't banned as frequently. At least, I don't see Morgana banned as often. edit: Yeah, Morgana isn't even in the top ten of champion bans for NA in the past week. I think people are getting over banning her. | ||

From 1150 to 1420 Elo, and in my draft normals where I estimate my Elo around 1500+, she's always been permabanned for almost a full year now. As for midlane, I guess that playing stuff like Ryze, Viktor, Orianna or Swain doesn't help me 100-0 people (as in I have to poke them first, then catch them with almost all those champs, or in Viktor's/Swain's cases, chase them so my ult finishes them off). Well that game just finished, Ziggs' team had the advantage at one point but Ziggs got instagibbed everyfight while Zyra only has to spam W somewhere near the enemy team then cast her spells on hit to do as many damage than a regular AP carry (over time). They played it smart tho and laid several traps with Blitz, Zyra and one or more of the rest in a bush, instagibbing the first one to come near then forcing an objective. I'm pretty pissed to see that Zyra's even "worse" than Brand in the "I don't care if you kill me in 2s, because I'll cast all my spells in that window and be useful" while having more sustained damage, burst, utility and, above all, range than him. You can't catch a Zyra, unless she facechecks your team, she'll always see it coming and kill somebody or put several at half-health without breaking a sweat. Stupid ult range and passive. | ||
