Honestly , there are two reasons why I watch a stream. Information or Entertainment. PL is on the extreme side of the entertainment spectrum . Like, I love watching some of his troll games, or how he interacts with the viewers on vent. I don't watch for his lessons, like I would watch Wingsofdeathx's stream for an informative stream. I just find him entertaining I guess.

i agree with you shake, but most people aren't as like, aware as us idk how to word it, but you and i both share the same opinions on most people. like as soon as someone turns into a caricature of themselves just to get more viewers, they feel like such a whore to me. dyrus prime example. destiny. phant0mlord too. when i heard either here or in an interview that scarra's nice-guy shtick might just be an act and he's kind of a douche to his team off-stream, it hurt my heart.
it's the kind of thing that movie celebrities do to keep the media eye on themselves, and it's pathetic. games used to be counterculture, you could get away from all that drama and bullshit and squawking and just play games with other people that played games. but with their growing popularity, people have found a way to turn that counterculture into mainstream, and the people that abuse that method are just so... shady and uninteresting to me.

HOLY what kind of world do we live in that people give $1000 donations to support a guy who streams games online instead of sending to starving people in the world that actually need the money?

This sounds very much like the actual world we live in. Well actually there's lots of things that are way "worse" than that. At least the money goes to someone who doesn't already swim in it.

So I played Jax top lane for the first time in my life, and I went up against a Yorick. I got some early kills by pressing him when he had low mana (also he started meki + 2), but then I had no idea what to build against him. I ended up getting a vamp and 2 dorans shields, and when Yorick got his tear I couldn't push him out of lane anymore.
How do you lane against Yorick if you get an early lead of some kind or just general? (Note I also almost never play top ;_;)

So, what does everyone think of Caitlyn right now?
I can't help but feel that she's actually really really good.
I never noticed how much the buff to her E really helped her mobility, and her Q is now much more accurate.

Don't build the dorans shields. If you got ahead, grab a pair of dorans blades or a phage instead and just whack two creeps, jump on yorick and smash his face in. Especially since he got his tear, Q+R proc + auto+W+R proc will easily take off 1/3-1/2 of his health bar. You don't want to slowly chip away at his health since he has such good sustain. Just kill him since there's no way he can outdamage you. The point of the tear is to slowly wear you down, not to kill you quickly. Use your W to reset your autoattack and there's almost nothing that yorick can do. If you got a pair of kills early you can actually 100-0 yorick. Jump on him, do your combo and the moment a ghoul comes out start your counterstrike, stun as late as you can and then finish him. Jax should be able to just 100-0 someone with a lead like that.

Actually if you have enough for a Sheen on your first back as Jax while being ahead, it's a way better purchase than vamp+2 dblades. Harass will be so strong.

Seriously WTF other people need your time more than you do.

Ooo this sounds fun I wanna try!
HOLY what kind of world do we live in that people care more about their entertainment than all the starving people in the world?
HOLY what kind of world do we live in that people give food to the starving people and don't give shelter to the homeless?
HOLY what kind of world do we live in that people make money and spend it on things OTHER THAN starving people?
Haha, sorry MooMoo but at your expense I'm having fun with it. :D

People who stream games online are entertaining. Starving African babies not entertaining.

Play Caitlyn + Nunu lane, never lose lane.

Nunu might actually be the only support that makes cait viable. She needs massive movement speed and attack speed to be able to make use of her range in teamfights. Otherwise your attack animations are just too long for you to stay at a safe range.

That is the most fucking retarded argument on earth since its conception. PL found a way to make money using what he had available to him. Maybe if you did the same and found your own way to make money YOU could feed said "starving children" instead of waste your time complaining on the internet on a $1k+ computer in a cushy house about someone else not doing it?
Like these pros if they win will have won $2 mil for playing a video game of their choice, and you're complaining about $1000 donation someone gave a guy cause they were provided entertainment by a guy who needs some extra cash? lol Really? People are allowed to do what they want with their money. If you want to send all your extra cash to africa to feed children go right ahead. It's great that you're helping others, but that does not mean others must do the same as you.

Unless your cait taric lane got so far ahead it doesn't matter. :p Cait's one of the few champs that outright shits on graves so i don't see why she'd be a bad choice considering everyone picks ez, corki, or graves.

i am struggling with syndra.
been playing her in normals just because i can play with my friends, but overall i feel like i'm losing way too many engagements on pure skill. luckily my friends have low normal ELO so i can die 7 times and still have equal gold because the enemy laner sucks at CS, and i think i've only lost once as her in the last week or so.
i think the #1 problem i'm having is deciding when and on who to pop ulti on. usually i wanna have two orbs before i pop ulti but i might be dead by then, and then i'm not sure if i should ulti the guy in front to shotgun with E or if i should creep to a squishy hoping to burst them down, but sacrifice the AoE stun.
i also feel like fleeing from other heroes is a crapshoot because of how dysfunctional E seems sometimes. i'm not even sure if you can get a stun if you orb behind them and then E them... i mean technically the hero would be flying at the orb at the same speed when the orb gets hit so they should be stunned, right?
she's still fun though and i like killing people by throwing an orb or something on them.

she's still fun though and i like killing people by throwing an orb or something on them. I stopped going for kills with her, unless the jungler comes to gank. My goal on Syndra nowadays is just pushing people out of the lane, and deny them as much as possible.
Killing people 1v1 with Syndra is pretty hard, the second they dodge/flash your slow, you can kiss the kill goodbye, and your instant burst is rarely enough to straight kill people. Unless you're already fed.
Syndra is way better at trading, so I do that. Dunno if that's the "right" way to do it but eh, works for me.
And no, you can't stun ppl like that. It works if the orb is closer to you and you E both, then he gets pushed AND stunned. But not if orbs are stationary.
