Surely building tank items makes it less likely you'll die? Or if you do die it'll be a mistake from the enemy? He used his tank items to engage with ult and bought wits end later. You think if he went 2x phantom dancer he'd get penta kills?
Xin runs in does his thing and dies ideally setting up kills for the rest of his team either that or like any melee non bruiser he's on clean up duty. I am not saying he should go glass cannon but ideally you want to invest in an offensive item to remain a serious threat. The only reason Darien even went full tank was because of how the game itself played out. It was a reaction to how rough his lane was for him nothing to do with a standard build for Xin. So yeah blindly copying it isn't that great an idea.

usual rules are first death / turret. either wins you the game variations include first death / 2 turrets, first 2 deaths, first inhib etcetc

it still probably wouldn't deviate seriously from tank+wits end unless he was fed enough to go for a triforce build.

True enough. Honestly I kind of like Frozen mallet or a lone brutalizer for him. Well phage into whatever I need to do be it just kill people by being fed via trinity force or I want to just be stickier and more beefy a Frozen mallet. I still think Ghostblade can be an okay item on him in the right situations. But yeah it's at least nice for people to play Xin on a pro level again.

Aphro just set up a Vayne page 16/9/5. Standard?

debatable, you get true damage on those every 3rd hits but that 6 armor pen still helps a lot for everything else. personally I like 21-7-2 but I can see that working as well for the little extra movespeed/tankiness instead of the armor pen/execution

I think xin does better with a maw than a wits end. The reason being that he already has an attack speed boost and attack speed boosts don't scale well together, his Q grants bonus damage on AD (3.6) and his autoattacks naturally grant 3.0 from those 3 attacks. So for those three attacks I think Xin gets more damage from maw than from wits end. His ult also has a nice ratio. And I think that the passive is probably one of the best in the game at 400 bonus health against magic damage for a short duration.
1v1 is really a stupid matchup. Champions that do well in lane aren't always the ones that do well in teamfights. In teamfights there are more people to lock you down so you can't always kite. You have to use your slows on multiple people. Whereas in lane you have a full 3+ minutes to wear someone down, in teamfights if you don't kill them fast enough, then your entire team is dead. I wouldn't pick a bruiser like the guy originally thought to.
You also completely remove the concept of being ganked so champions with no escapes suddenly become viable.

Wits end gives 42 AD AND 40% attack speed.
Q doesn't scale 6.6. It scales 3.6. That means the 3 attacks gain 20% bonus meaning it's a 0.6 bonus ratio on your autos. Add that to the ult ratio that's a 1.6 bonus AD ratio total. Compare to lee sin or renek or garen or talon who all have a 4.0-->5.0ish range of total AD ratio for one combo. (its a bit better because its 20% more on your base ad also)
Wits end scales "3.0" on your Q and its way cheaper than hexdrinker and shit.
Yeah granted your passive scales slightly better with ad based attacks but if you're not going to go balls out with ghostblade and shit as well it's not really worth losing the cost effective wits end. (Which works well with trinity force as well since sheen procs are great but don't really scale with any other items)

Yuriru just got Penta on Aphromoo's stream. OP.

I had to check the wiki for this, but I think Xin does get the full "6.6" AD ratio since his Q damage in 3 attacks would be 3attacks*(base auto damage + bonus auto damage + bonus Q damage + Q ratio) more or less.

Q is treated as separate from an auto attack, and I guarantee you xin zhao doesn't have more AD ratio in 1 spell than the entire combo of every other AD champ in the game lol 200 bonus AD turning into 1320 bonus damage? You don't think that's unreasonable?

3 attacks * (base auto damage * q ratio + bonus Q damage)
So with 100 ad
3 * (100 * 1.2 + 75)

Just tested it out. I'm doing 1 more damage per auto than I intend to with no runes or masteries vs wraiths but otherwise what you say is right.

Galio one of the best 1v1 heroes

Darius if they pick a bully-able melee. Jayce vs... anyone but Yorick. Ez/Corki best ADs, Ken/Morg best APs (always CC never fight hue).
ALSO BATTLERAKA
|
Kennen would lose his turret eventually, need to be able to push well.

Oh man I thought Jacye takes some finesse to play but its pretty faceroll too >.>. I missed most of the gate shots and still bullied the crap outta my lane opponent.

i ran AD sona with support rengar in a normal.

This guy Regi. Retires one day, next day comes back.

It happens with people who compete at the highest level. They want to retire and they honestly belive that they're going to.
But that next day when you wake up and you feel completely alone with no one there to cheer you on the inside just kills them inside.
