Ran teleport/flash, 21/9/0, Mpen reds armor yellows AP blues and quints.
I would not suggest this for serious play but man is it fun to grab it in blind pick and watch your team rage at you. You'll get a lot of people dodging your queues.

What are some good champions to know for a 1v1 tourney some schools around here are hosting together? I've never been to one and I don't know the rules for this one yet but presumably standard 1v1 rules prevent you from farming Jungle buffs? If not, I was thinking of like Promote/Tele Nunu or Yorick. Otherwise, just strong duelists like Jax, Lee, Olaf, Irelia?

Kha'Zix benefit so much from map awareness it's silly. Killing isolated champions is easy when you know where people are and considering Kha'Zix mobility / dps. But in teamfight he does not shine that much imo.

I guess part of why I changed keybindings around to use WASD for camera control was because I'm very accustomed to WASD with keybindings around it from playing first person & third person games
default keybinding scheme along with only using mouse to control camera was super awkward to me. a lot of it could have to do with my MOBA experience being just a little bit of DOTA 1, and back then, I also didn't like the default control scheme and wanted to change things around.

Not to be a downer, but that could be explained by the people you get paired with are
1. really bad and give no fucks, so the other team is just as bad
2. pretty good and don't mind you trying new things
3. OMG META shitty to mediocre players who dodge
I usually transition from support Raka to AP Raka lategame (Abyssal/ DFG/ Rabadon) when I'm getting a lot of money and if we aren't really far behind it's pretty ridiculous. Getting it even earlier could be real terror.

Visual character design is a funny and often misleading thing in this game.
One would think that a full plate j4 and a ironclad like naut have a higher base armor value than a yordle wrapped up in toilet paper h4h4

Clearly the Full Metal skins should give +1 armor at lvl 18.

I've heard about it before, but this was the first time I fell victim to it. I was forced to play mid, so I went for a Lulu pick. Our team got into several bad fights where morg could easily take advantage, and we lost. My team then blamed the loss, not on anyone's playstyle or mistakes, but specifically on my Lulu pick.
Lesson learned: unless you're sure to win, don't pick something outside of what people are used to.

i've played him both, had more success jungle
boots + 3 into d-blades and bruta, then mid-tier AD items (phage, hexdrinker). no wriggles. sometimes i go tanky but no tank items really feel right on kha'zix

after that i max W or Q dependent on the game, lane, and opponents. sometimes i max them evenly
evolve E first 100%, that jump range increase is too good to pass up
R or W next, i lean W because the AoE slow is pretty massive. R is okay too though
have only evolved Q once and i didn't feel like it did much compared to the other evolutions
i gank basically after every camp once i have evolved jump. i also run exhaust

Presumably its so his jungling isn't crazy safe? Imagine 22 lvl 1 armor. Then with lvl 1 E and runes/masteries you have 50 armor on boots+3 and 60 armor when your E aura is active.

Eve needs to be nerfed so badly, holy shit.
Play lux vs eve in my first game, i'm up 2 kills and 30 cs. Eve still one shots my ez with dfg and we get rolled.
Play as eve (first time) vs ori in my second game, rush dfg, end game 13/4/18 and all of my deaths were either retard tower dives or me not knowing my own skill descriptions.
