Asking because my last game I was Skarner with Mercs, Shurelya's, Randuin's, Aegis, and Frozen Heart, and I didn't get to finish my last item, but I was having trouble deciding between GA and something else (the enemy carry was a full build Ezreal). Screenshot of game: http://i.imgur.com/JoQnb.jpg I think that if you are this late into the game the match depends waay too much on both sides' AD carries for your build to matter that much  Honestly i wouldn't be looking at main stats but at the side effects (maybe a thornmail so he doesn't lifesteal off you). I don't play this game too much anymore so if someone active gives you better idea listen to him :x | ||

That or a damage item. | ||

Screenshot of game: http://i.imgur.com/JoQnb.jpg Honestly at that point you have a full build ezreal...nothing you build is going to matter significantly in terms of him not blowing you to pieces in three seconds and if you stack too much armor that lux was going to blow your face off anyway. At 47 minutes into the game, if all your AD has is an ie/pd/lw against an ezreal with almost three times the farm, an ie/triforce/pd/bt/lw, the game is basically over unless the ezreal is retarded. Let's say you even built a thornmail for assurance...it honestly wouldn't have mattered. Based on your team, Ezreal would have just blown up everyone else on your team in ten seconds and then you'd be 1v5'ing their team because you're the only real tanky member on your team. You just won't be doing anything to him except maybe grabbing him into your team with ulti, which an ezreal would probably be good at dodging if both flash and e are up. Though I agree with poster above. Extra health always good, though I'm not sure where that would come from. | ||

Edit: Singed is actually a decent pick against Jayce. If he doesn't shove you completely out of lane (which you can actually trade ok against him early on with poison), you just go Singed mode and be unkillable forever. Useful in solo queue. | ||

Dependent on a couple things, I guess. | ||

Well the only "real" Elo hell is when your true skill is like 50-100 Elo above where you actually are, in that you can do well in most games but not well enough to dominate carry. If you're not crushing your lane and then roaming and crushing every other lane in most of your games, chances are you are very close to the Elo in which you actually belong. Jayce's Q -> hit -> E combo does a lot more than Singed's flip, not to mention you can't really kite Jayce into running around your poison trail because he can just go ranged after the combo and continue the beatdown. I'm just going off my anecdotal evidence from the Jayce side though, maybe the people I went against didn't know how to play the matchup. | ||
