when should I start considering playing Normal Draft mode?
I've played around 50 Normal Blind Picks and the people that get matched up into my games range from < 10 Normal wins to 1350 ELO. Play them when ever you want, the only difference is that the que time is longer and the first 3 picks hog top mid and jungle. Only thing is,you need to own 16 heros(including free rotation champions) I thought the real issue with problem with playing normal draft pre-30 was that most people playing it have been already lvl 30 for a long time (and play normals cuz rankeds too stressful / "can't escape ELO hell so I play normals") and have full mastery pages and all the runes and hurt your lvl 22 ass too much during laning phase. nop,if you are lvl 22 you'll get matched against people that are around that lvl. At least that's what happens to me when I'm smurfing on NA with a lvl 16 account.

They tweaked the algorithm a long time ago to favor putting sub 30s with sub 30s and 30s with 30s, but you will occasionally get 30s. That said, these are the people who are barely 30 or are very bad.

If they stay true what they said in the interviews after they went out. Maybe some of the new NA teams will raise the bar in NA, too. My bet is on TSM and SK to make a lot of progress. TSM seems to have motivation for sure, at least according to Dyrus's post on reddit and the following ama. http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/111092/dyrus_season_2_finals_aftermath_amaconclusions/Edit: Also, is anyone else having problems with the league client? Just did a ranked game where it wouldn't go from champ select into the loading screen. Had to relog twice before I finally got in.
The following quote in particular gives me mixed feelings:
I will not stick to 20 different champions but only 3-4 that are the strongest in today's meta.
Throughout the post he definitely seems intent on improving, and this is a part of that. To an extent you don't want to spread yourself too thin. However, I feel as though this "I'll stick to 3-4 champions" mentality is part of what holds back team composition theory and helps propagate metas.

only when everyone plays with the same 3-4 champs m5 plays only a few champs but they are different everyone 6 months or so lol
|
He clarified later with 8 to 12 which I think is enough champs for tourney level play

However, I feel as though this "I'll stick to 3-4 champions" mentality is part of what holds back team composition theory and helps propagate metas. Personally I think what's holding back TSM as a team is their repeated attitude of copying what other people do and not finding their own style.
There's no one "meta" that's superior to the others. There are only team compositions and strategies that suit the attitudes and playstyles of a given team. What works for CLG.EU works for CLG.EU. What works for M5 works for M5. What works for Blaze works for Blaze. They all have vastly different ways of playing the game, and it's quite clear that none of them have the "right" way of playing the game.
TSM needs to get out of this mentality of emulating the last team that beat them, and find something that meshes with their own personal playstyles and attitudes. The fact that they only thing they really brought to the table this match was just copying Blaze's fast-push that beat them (and then crumbling past the point where they had no idea how to follow up) proves that they still have this flawed mindset.

"The truth is Darius is not countered by Jayce, same for irelia. It heavily depends on the jungle ganks/pressure and my ability to pull or his ability to kite and judge/skillshot/ use abilities. I should of went movement speed or health regen instead of flat 15 AD. "
Seriously? If they replayed this, would he pick Darius again? It depends heavily on jungle ganks because if you don't get a kill on Jayce early, you're pretty much boned as Darius. 2v2 sort of favors Darius, but good luck getting to a point where that matters... which is pretty much exactly what happened. Any team with any sort of intelligence is going to expect Jayce to be camped early. It takes a lot less for Irelia to get ahead and leverage the situation, and once she has a lead, she can drive it home extremely hard by herself.

Why would you ever pick darius against jayce if you're at a disadvantage in the lane and darius is one of the worst teamfight bruisers o.O

I think so cause, i've been in a game for 45 minutes. People disconnecting and reconnecting in and out. I've only been able to do my trueshot barrage with a 30 second delay to push waves :D. Now minions killed their nexus but no victory screen. Only "Attempting to reconnect"

Any team with any sort of intelligence is going to expect Jayce to be camped early. I'm sure he would pick Daruis again, only go with different quints. If you actually watched the game he was going even against Jayce in cs until he died to a gank. It was only after that that Jayce pulled ahead. From the game and the fact that two pro top laners have said it works I tend to agree with him.

What's the best item to get on corki after Tri force?
|
bloodthirster, infinity edge, last whisper, and phantom dancer each have their respective place on corki, immediately before or after TF
|
LW is more and more seen as the best follow-up, since it gives as much or more dps than a BT depending on the enemy armor, for cheaper. You can still sit on your vamp scepter if you need.

If you are safe enough and want huge damage, it's IE or LW depending on the Armor of the enemy that is the most trouble for you. If you need to be slightly safer, but aren't in danger of getting bursted down, BT. QSS if all you have to fear is one big CC. GA if you need to survive burst that will come your way.
