Think Graves top and something like Panth/Jarv bottom. Obviously not an ideal situation and the meta at high level I'm sure will fuck it up in one way or another (and not that I feel like figuring out how or why, but I'm sure it's true because pros said so amirite). If the two of them share farm it seems more ideal in that case than giving it all to one or the other as each of them will be able to pick up various small items on their way to bigger ones, further cementing their terror in lane against the poor AD/support.

Because if Leona + AD carry know what they're doing they can get them and wreck shit anyway.

I'm pretty sure some junglers, a few XP short of level 3, get lizard down to around half health and then go "WELL I THINK I'LL GANK TOP NOW" and head directly there.

As long as you play safe, the jungler is somewhere else. As soon as you go for that one ranged creep, or just stay for one more wave, the jungler is suddenly there.

All the timings blend together in such a way that there's never a point where you are not in danger of being ganked. Until you have clear, incontrovertible evidence that the jungler is elsewhere you are not safe, you are never safe.

But that means that gp10 as a stat should be equally useful to everybody, which means either everybody should be buying them (as used to be the case when we had the really OP old HoG), or it's a stat not worth buying on anyone. As it stands the logic of "only supports buy gp10" has no logical basis except for the case where farm distribution isn't as fluid as you claimed, and supports need gp10 for ward gold because teams won't give them enough farm for it. Not necessarily true even if teams allocated farm more fluidly 1) Carries want as much farm as possible, so very rarely does it make sense to give up gold to support (exceptions include getting philo stone or after carry has max items). If it were possible (such as wc3/sc2), most of the time supports would choose to transfer the gold they have to carries. 2) gp10s give inferior stats, and item strength is multiplicative. getting PD + IE on two separate champs isn't nearly as effective as getting both on the same. 3) Carries clear faster, so it costs the team more time overall to allocate farm to supports.
