Regardless, I really hope that Amumu gets nerfed. I do not want to learn how to play him, skill shots are so bloody hard. That is why the only top tier junglers I do not play are Mundo, Lee Sin, and Amumu.

He's been nerfed so many times. Only way to nerf him imo is to change his ultimate completely. No matter what you do its still going to be a bigass aoe stun

I tried playing a bit more of Taric when I had to support recently and while his burst is really good is you can get to the enemy champs (and when they kind of pushed or you won a trade his heal as a really low cd if you hit minions to counterpush) I was baffled as to how to engage long range/disengage duos, for example Kog'Maw, or Janna.
Maybe I should rush boots before philo more. @_@

Amumu's just a soloqueue pubstomp champ. In tourneys, he's played sometimes, but not that often. He demolishes in solo where people don't take advantage of his weak dueling early on, and then don't know how to not be clumped up. In fact, all AoE ultimates are OP as shit for solo queue, Amumu's is just the most noticeable.

Amumus ult isn't overpowered it's just that wombo combo champs are the best thing for solo que.
People either don't know how or don't want to or are too lazy to evade,kite,poke.All they want to do is dive head long into a fight when someone initiates and obviously the team with amumu/morgana/malphite/graves/leona ult's is going to win more frequently.

Only if it gets to team fight stages. You can lose games without having a single team fight, and in fact it happens quite often. Playing gank heavy junglers is the counter to that. It's why Shaco and Lee and Maokai and all other junglers with great ganking potential can prevent themselves from falling off by making each lane win.

Eve really strong, damage is obscene. I never played old eve, but I bought new one and I cant believe people are saying she is bad... its not many junglers where I can just run in and 1v1 a laner and crush them no problem. I really like her.
Its also really enjoyable to itemize, as you have total freedom, you can go a total bruiser, AP burst assassin, and use all those cool hybrid items that you never get a chance to use but are super efficient and amazing on eve.

Not saying Mao and Lee are bad at team fights, but there are stronger team fighting junglers (Amumu being one) that arguably never drop off. Mao might be in that category too because of his ult I suppose.

Amumu far surpasses Maokai for SoloQ teamfight. When Amumu ult goes off it is a huge "lol time to drop the AoE bombs on these guys" whereas Maokai ult requires your team to know how to position and fight well in it (assuming you placed it well) or you just have to be pro and place it proactively where you think your derpy team is going to drag the fight to.

I don't understand this. Shouldn't there be a way to make it so he's balanced without taking away who he is? Suppose we just nerf the base damage on all his abilities until he gets a 50% win rate.
This is the same logic that Riot used when changing stealth and Heimerdinger. Instead of having unique abilities which can force the enemy team to play around you, riot took away the things which made them special. Do you really think it would be impossible for Heimerdinger to be balanced if he had three, or even more, turrets? Wouldn't it be possible to keep Amumu's ult - What makes him who he is; his personality - without having him be too powerful?

I don't even get whats the point of this response.I said why amumu has a high win rate and that there are ways to counter it just people don't feel like or don't know how to do it.
It's unrealistic to want to end a game before a single team fight starts,if that was so lee shaco and mao would have the highest winrates but they don't.Obviously amumu wins more for a reason.
People get shit on by amumu because they treat each team composition the same in solo que,that's the sole reason why amumu wins so much.
Another reason is because combacks are the easiest when you have these press R to win ults.
