BTW, The thing about exec calling's passive, is that it's not really meant to do damage as much as shut down garen/MF/teemo W passives for a few extra seconds.

That still doesn't help because that kind of utility is primarily more useful in lane anyway (teamfights mid/lategame have too many sources of incidental damage already). It's still an early game-centric effect on an item that provides lategame stats.

Imo Exec would be better without the passive. You can't even repeatedly harrass people under their tower when you have Exec because you'll draw aggro from the DoT.
They definitely shouldn't make Exec a component for a big item. There already is a lack of competition between cheap midgame items and lategame items that you can't buy in convenient pieces.

crit is good mid or late game
lifesteal is only good early game except on ad carries
the proc is only good for melees
pretty much all its stats collide. For example AD carries can't buy it because they get so much gold they can't afford to buy exe if they are getting fed because they want a BT later and they can't use the proc.
Just remove this item and remake it.

Just play regen Garen and dunk on him. Jayce can e you away when you run up to q, but it doesn't really matter given how fast you regen, and sooner or later they're going to screw up a time or two, so when you hit 6 you just flash q them, then judgement, ult away. After that it's all Garen, all the time.

Regen garen is actually bad against jayce because if he plays properly you can never get in range and garen kinda needs to win early game to get farmed for later
Jayce has one of the best kiting kits in the game against a melee and garen sucks against that it's unreal
That jayce passive is just ridiculous the accelerate gate is enough imo.

I really hate these bullshit top laners they are releasing like jayce and darius because it limits the top lane champ pool if yorick wasn't bad enough, everyone just picks rumble vlad and irelia because you can't first pick top lanes with such strong counters around although it was always bad in top lane when it comes to counters.

Top lane champions are assholes, even the older ones. Teemo, Garen, Sion, Singed... They don't stack up to newer releases (power creep real bad for all roles except like, support), but they've always been dick champions.

As I've said before, I still dislike the idea of Riot paying out salaries to teams. It's awkward situation, IMO, when teams are being paid by an organization that doesn't have a vested interest in the team's actual performance (Riot doesn't care that any individual team does well, but that on the whole the teams produce good games).

Individuals and teams still have a vested interest. The more successful team = more advertising money. Also teams can still drop players and what not, so players still have to perform their best. I think you're overstating the totalitarian communistic aspect of season 3.
I really want to know how much money Riot plans on giving to the teams. Because they make it sound understated almost... "compensate teams" is the wording.

They could fix the problem by putting the majority of the funding toward their own tournament. Since this a soccer based system, there would be an end of the season tournament both for the continent and the world. If the winner of the continent tournament gets say 500k and winner of the world gets 2mil, there is still strong incentives to be the best.
If they were really douchey though, they could just give the players a bare minimum salary like 30k/year sort of the thing.

I can't even beat Irelia as Jayce, I've been picking her everytime I get top recently because I want to improve (or rather undo the crust of rust I've gathered on a lot of champs) and almost all of those games Jayce was top (picked before or after me), and I'd get fucking annoyed because I can't engage him if he doesn't stay near an almost dead minion (he's ranged so it's easy for him) as he'll simply laugh and kite backwards while harassing. And he'll only engage me in hammer form with Q, the slow making it really hard to reposition before he Es me away (or else I'd move near a wall or between his tower and him).
Eh, I'll just stick that to the Irelia thread instead. There.
