Garen Taric was the first lane i managed to max out my SotO. Funny times. I started one year ago, and prolly did all sort of bad stuff until like level 20, but after that i was pretty much hooked, so started following streams and lurking here. Some bad stuff i did before that include:

-Bought Irelia because friend suggested her to me, maxed W last, never used the active. Was complaining to my friend that this shit does no damage. Full tank Ire without W OP.

-We understood nothing about the laning in lol, so when i read in elementz list that Corki and Brand both win lanes super hard, the natural thing was to ask my friend to buy Brand, and i bought Corki. 2 champ that win lane super hard equals to us winning the lane even harder, right? With manamune we were rarely outpushed though..

-Used Mobafire guides on all chars... 90% of the time that meant full DPS, zero survivability.

-Only bought champs that were T1 in elementz list.

Oh yeah...I remember one time when I was against a super super fed Kog Ma loaded with AS and LS and he tanked our entire team...oh those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end...

And I was just thinking when it comes to professional games. When there is a lot of combat in a StarCraft game, it is often a sign of a higher level player. When there is a lot of combat in LoL, it is often a sign of a lower level game. A hyperbole and untrue to some extent with the StarCraft reference, but I hope you understand my point.

It's pretty interesting how hard TF's been nerfed throughout, and still very popular pick.

Regen garen bot still pretty good maybe you have to adjust for more damage to make up for lack of AD but taric armour +insane regen combined with garens higher base damage scaling with the armour pen better and it's still not bad.

There is HOPE for SEA. The regional is being held in Vietnam and this is the audience.

Given LoL is only out in Vietnam for one month, this is alot of people. I was thinking they are hosting this in some studio with no audience. I am surprised SEA! Hope there will be more teams that can compete with teams for other parts of the world.

Even though TF has been nerfed (most notably the global ult), bot lane has gradually become more and more snowbally.

AD carries used to take exhaust and Supports would take CV. Add in the fact that supports were much stronger and had more sustain (soraka and sona). It used to be that even if you got double killed, you could still farm in peace.

In the current game, with TF, one gank on an even lane and suddenly the enemy AD is zoned from being behind. Making him retardedly strong
Also, with CV gone, you're infinitely more vulnerable to getting dove under your tower once you're behind. All in all, I'd say that TF is at least equally strong as he was before, despite all of the nerfs.

Pretty sure that's not true. Even in pro games I've seen AD carries coming from behind and fight on even footing. It's just that there are some AD that are not as strong as others in the laning phase: Ezreal / Miss Fortune / Corki (even twitch nowadays >.>) are just one tier above the others.
Caitlyn is trash, not considering her because once behind game is lost.
Tristana can make up for her mid game shittiness in the late game; in the lane she's ok with a strong support I guess.
Ashe is still a mystery for me ;D I hate her guts when I see her as the opposing carry, but whenever I play carry it feels that unless I have low latency (¬70+ atm) it's just impossible to abuse her longer range properly ( in lane ).

You just don't come from behind when TF tower dives you over and over lol.
edit* not even tower dive, if his ult is up, you're zoned if you're behind in lane already.

Speaking of Cait and TF ganks... a dumb question just popped up in my mind. If you ult with her a Shen who finishes channeling ult before you finish channeling your ult, does the bullet simply go past him or does it follow him over the map? If Shen ults behind you, does the bullet leave and enter the map? Or is the ult just cancelled? Or does the bullet teleport with him?

I don't have friends to try this with

Projectiles follow Shen ult, TF ult, teleport, etcetc.
Don't get teleported, they just change direction and fly there

But if Cait is channelling and Shen finish his ult, I think Cait ult will be cancel.
Fizz ult on the other hand will follow Shen whenever you go if Shen got hit by the small fish.

If you can wait until level6, Skarner is the king of bottom camps. Flash ult, shurelyas on top of it, as long as enemy team has no globals their bottom is as good as dead.

Yep cait ult has to launch first if you want it to follow.
